Trackr for finance apprenticeships
Introduction :)
Hi — my name is Isabela, and I look forward to connecting with you guys! A bit about me: - A-Levels: English Lit, Fine Art, French and Portuguese - I did an EPQ via a programme run by The Courtauld Institute - I help out Investate's social media by designing posts (the ones I've designed have quite a distinct look, but you'll see what I mean if you check out my LinkedIn 🙃) - I've had work experience placements at renowned marketing agencies - I love learning about people! I am excited to join this community, and I hope I'll get to know you guys better :) Here's my LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/isabela-l-p/

Hi Isabela, welcome to Vanguards society! Your A levels sound really unique! What was your EPQ on?

@Isa P it sounds like a fun passion project. I was going to do an EPQ but it would have been nothing to do with my A levels so I was advised against it, also because I'm doing 4.
Intro
Hi everyone, my name is Nameesah and I'm in year 12 studying maths, further maths and computer science at A-level. I am particularly interested in the tech industry & I aspire to work as a software engineer.

@Nameesah J I study Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Further Maths. I do maths and further in series though, so I sit A level maths next week and start further maths next year.

@Nameesah J Physics is so tough for me but I'm succeeding at parts of it. There is so much content and the exam questions are always so weird. Chemistry on the other hand is overall much easier for me and going quite well, I feel it makes sense.
Do degree apprenticeships typically pay enough to move out?
Most of the degree apprenticeships I've been looking at in my sector are based down South, which would mean I would have to move out, however my form tutor says a degree apprentice's salary isn't usually enough to move out. Any apprentice's thoughts & advice on whether the typical L6 apprentice's salary would be enough to move out or not would be immensely valuable. :)
