A stark realisation about how much I have allowed the things that serve my growth slide. Including my practice, it has not been intentional, then these things never are, I have simply been allowing life to get in the way and excusing myself for not holding true to my convictions. This is my declaration to self to get back on my practice and get back in to making more functional choices around my health and well being. From today 16/2/2025 I shall be undertaking at least 2 sessions of State and Form Training with other trainings to deepen my experience in this wonderful art as my schedule allows. 16/2 Did 2x State and SNT training, The first lot of state training felt like pure effort, then, it has been a while. 17/2 2x State and SNT training, during meditation I currently sit, a question I ponder is that in WIng Chun there is no force, yet piece by piece I will need to acclimatise myself to meditating in stance, something that will take longer due to my hiatus admittedly, yet what is an acceptable level of pushing yourself to achieve something like this over force? I also noticed as I sit, that my back gets tense, today I realised that you dont need to activate muscles to have an upright spine, then the tension just dropped away. Also a far deeper realisation, I will not always rememeber this, but the realisation is gold in itself. All of this is effortless if you stop getting in the way, life, wing chun, everything. 18/2 Only practiced once today as I have a surveyor coming to view the property and need to get some sleep before they attend my flat.

90 Pays of Peaceful Power ♾️
A day late beginning my journal, fortunately I began the challenge on the alloted day. I've slipped a few times with my practice, and had some time off in recent weeks due to life circumstance, so this comes at a perfect time to really kick start my practice and realign with the state. 11/11/24 Did I train today? 11/11/24 - 7am State training (which includes Siu Nim Tao training.) Upper Body Gym Session. 8pm State Training (7am Sydney time (includes Siu Nim Tao training.)) 8:30pm Form Training (Single Leg Siu Nim Tao, Chum Kiu pivoting, Biu Gee elbows.) 1am (Midday Sydney Time) HQ State Energy Work. 2am HQ all levels training. When will I train next? Tomorrow. What Observations/Questions/Insights do I have from todays training? I know I have had some time away, yet the connection to the components of the state is still there, fortunate enough to have the full 4 days off work this week to propel me in to this season of my kung fu training and I'm truly excited to see where it leads for everyone taking part. 6/1/2025 Its been a fair old while since I updated this. In truth, I haven't been commmiting to proper training like I said I would. There is no judgement, I have observed a number of things though. This training and teachings if applied and observed in life truly make a massive difference and can bring about massive change in your life. On Christmas day I was at my Mum's and we notoriously have a quite volatile relationship in the past, thanks to the tools of surrendering, thanks the power of intention and alignment I have had one of the most peaceful and love filled christmases I have ever known. I can only imagine what it would be like if I was also consistently training at the time. This is my commitment to my training and completing the teacher training set out by Sifu. Did I train today? Live Session Replay December 31st (State & Form Training.) When will I train next? Tomorrow morning, after the school run. What Observations/Insights/Questions came up for me? I want to speak on how much the power of the state builds with repetition. The state training is a beautiful device which brings us home to that which we are at the very core of our being, it illuminates us and aligns us with our highest intention and indeed our highest potential. It is without a doubt the most powerful thing and direct line to cultivating a level of operation that truly serves our growth and movement towards the potential of who we are born to be. I'm not saying it is easy always, we all have pitfalls, mine most recently has been allowing the moments in life get in the way of my training, allowing excuses to take the place of my intention and commitment. I say this without judgment, I say this whilst fully surrendering any tension within the statement and just allowing to pass. Because that old voice that used to allow the judgements to build and over whelm me is a massive thing of the past. That is thanks in a massive way to this training and our awesome Sifu. Not to mention, the love, support and camaraderie that you fucks provide.
