First Etsy sale after 3 months – but struggling with traffic
Hey everyone, Just wanted to share I finally got my first Etsy sale after about 3 months which was a good feeling. I’ve got 78 listings up now and I’ve been trying a few different things but I’m really struggling to get much traffic to the shop. I feel like I might still be trying to figure out the right niche. Recently I’ve started making travel poster style artwork which I actually really enjoy doing, but I’m not sure if I’m going in the right direction or if my listings / SEO need improving. Would really appreciate if anyone could take a quick look at my shop and give any advice on what I might be doing wrong or what I could improve. Shop link: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SoftHorizonWild Thanks a lot 🙏

I like your style of travel posters one thing I want to point out I went to your Las vegas listing and the first design you have up is different to the rest of the images but do keep go at it I'm sure things will turn around eventually
First Sale
Hey everyone, thanks for all the great discussion on here. I'm about 2 weeks in on our journey since we got the store set up. 50 listings live so far and trying to be consistent with adding more. Focus niche is on kitchen / dining and food-based art. We got our first real (non-test) sale today which is great! I had some questions would love input on: 1. I've struggled finding a good video mockup. We use photopea for the static ones we bought and happy with those. I bought a video mockup for use on Canva and tried a few free ones and they just look rubbish - like the flat poster is pasted on top of the moving video. So we've skipped video mockups. Is there a way to get good ones without using Photoshop? Photopea doesn't support the files. 2. How do you find good topics or ideas? So far I just do things I would like, or get inspiration from what shows as being popular on certain terms. It feels like with keyword tools they still rely on me having the idea of what to search for or check. Is there a way to see what popular terms are within a niche I am missing? Would really love any feedback on the store so far too! https://www.etsy.com/shop/YummyPrintsYorkshire

Help please ☺️
Hello! I’m considering setting up a poster shop on Etsy (Saw Tom’s videos on Insta and it really inspired me 🤩) I’ve watched some of the videos on the classroom and started creating some nice designs on mid journey, but I’m not 100% clear on all the next steps to prepare to get them onto Etsy. Please could any experts advise a list of the steps/tasks eg canva? Thanks in advance 👍🏻

I am not a expert but what i did from the advice i gathered was looking at different etsy shops and designs and get a feel of what is popular and what sells well then using canva and chatgpt the resources available on here to help you get your designs and shop up and running my process was 1- Mockups for poster done 2- FAQs section so your protected for the future 3- Research listing and words hit the SEOs so when people search with keywords then hopefully the keywords match your listing increasing traffic to your shop 4- get your posters and designs files ready on printshrimp There is a lot of information out there and different people saying different things but take your time I hope this helps
