Weekly Discussion # 23 - What’s your question?
Today, I thought I’d do something different for a weekly discussion. Let’s discuss what YOU want about the paranormal. What kinds of questions do you have related to the paranormal? What have you been waiting to talk about? Perhaps we can get some topics that we can dive deeper into based on the questions you have.

Stay warm and safe
As much of the US is being effected by either bitter cold or winter storms, everyone stay safe! I started this Friday morning off with -25F with windchills near -50. And fun fact, -40F is the same as -40C so it’s cold no matter how you look at it 😆

Weekly Discussion # 22 - Pareidolia
Pareidolia is the brain’s natural tendency to recognize familiar patterns—especially faces and figures—in unclear or random stimuli. In paranormal research, this often shows up in photos, videos, EVPs, shadow figures, and even SLS captures. Some investigators view pareidolia as a psychological filter that can explain away many experiences. Others believe it may be the mechanism through which subtle paranormal forms become visible to human perception. 💭 When reviewing evidence, how do you personally tell the difference between pareidolia and a genuine anomaly? Do you trust first impressions, group consensus, or personal intuition? Have you ever caught something in evidence that others dismissed as pareidolia—but felt real to you? Let’s explore where perception ends… and mystery begins. This discussion was suggested by @Klowie Fields If you would like to suggest a topic for discussion, message me.

It's a lot more straightforward with cryptozoology you know blob squatch. But it maybe possible that spirits can manipulate cameras I know I've taken blurred photos that 100% should not have been blurry
Weekly discussion # 20 - Does Belief Shape the Paranormal?
Does belief strengthen paranormal experiences—or just make us notice them more? Some believe that belief acts like a signal, opening awareness and allowing experiences to happen more clearly. Others think belief doesn’t create experiences—it only shapes how we interpret what’s already there. - If belief strengthens experiences, does skepticism act as a shield? - If belief only affects perception, why do skeptics still report powerful encounters? - Is belief a tool, a filter, or a risk when investigating? 💬 Share your thoughts: Have your beliefs changed because of an experience—or did belief come first? No right or wrong answers—just honest discussion.

Belief is a huge thing that I don't have time to post about right now. But I have been told that ouija boards don't work unless you believe they do
