Prophetic Office Definitions
From “The Prophet’s Dictionary: The Ultimate Guide to Supernatural Wisdom “ by Paula A. Price, Ph.D 1416. Spirit of Prophecy A) A term the Bible uses to describe the creation of an atmosphere conducive to prophesying and operating the manifest word of the Lord. The spirit of prophecy includes the atmosphere that provokes or evokes the spiritual and supernatural. This is irrespective of the official prophet. B) The act of bringing forth the word of the Lord in primarily predictive more than revelatory contexts. C) Christ is the literal Spirit of Prophecy. Scripture references: Revelation 19:10; 1 Corinthians 12:10; 1 Corinthians 13:2; Romans 12:6. 1636. Word of Knowledge A phrase that describes one of the nine manifestations of the Holy Spirit where information or knowledge is delivered by the Spirit of God supernaturally. Word of knowledge manifestations are usually short, often single-word sentences that provide information for the hearer to act on while being used of God. For clarity, the term found in 1 Corinthians 12:8 would be understood as the “statement of knowledge, more of fact,” for that is how it emerges to the hearer. Statements about someone’s health, condition, spiritual attitude, or conduct are the typical ways they manifest. Words of knowledge ordinarily do not require any overt action on the part of the hearer other than to verbalize what is heard with the spiritual ear. For the most part, words of knowledge are not necessarily revelatory or predictive. These features are routinely reserved for the prophecy anointing or manifestation. 1637. Word of Wisdom Similar to the word of knowledge, this communication from the Holy Spirit tends to emerge more elaborately. The information given is more of a practical sort rather than revelatory or predictive, and it is tied to specific circumstances the hearer may be facing. Answers that describe wise and prudent follow-up action on their part is what usually tends to come forth. With the word of wisdom manifestation, “how to” is emphasized over what is or is not. The when and where are explained about the circumstances. See 1 Corinthians 12:8.

Hear NationShakers What The Kingdom Says
Matthew 13:9-23 He who has ears to hear, let him hear! When anyone hears the message of the kingdom but does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path. But the seed sown on good soil is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and produces a crop—a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold." A parable reveals a truth while also demanding a response from the person listening. The one who listens casually picks up a story, whereas the one who is hungry for the Kingdom hears the mysteries of the Kingdom revealed. In Hebrew, this idea is expressed in the word shema (שָׁמַע). Although shema means "to hear" or "to listen", in the Scriptures hearing is seldom separated from a response. The great declaration of Israel begins with Shema Yisrael, "Hear, O Israel" Deuteronomy 6:4-God was not simply commanding Israel to recognize the sound of His voice; He was urging them to hear Him so His words might govern their lives. To hear Biblically involves going from the ear to the heart and then on to the feet. One hears, one receives, one responds, and thus one lives differently because one has heard. The real danger is not that God has ceased to speak, but that we have stopped truly listening. Selah

The Evangelistic Office
“Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” — 2 Timothy 4:5 The evangelistic office carries the proclamation of the gospel to those outside the household of faith. Mentees on this track are trained after the pattern of Philip (Acts 8) — bold, Spirit-led, and committed to handing new believers into discipleship rather than leaving fruit unattended. I. THE GIFTS • Gift of Evangelism — a particular grace and boldness to proclaim the gospel with fruitfulness. Ephesians 4:11 • Boldness in Proclamation — Spirit-given courage to speak Christ plainly in hostile or unfamiliar settings. Acts 4:31 • Signs Accompanying the Word — healing and deliverance confirming the message preached. Acts 8:6–7 • Discernment of Readiness — sensitivity to the Spirit's leading toward a person prepared to receive (the Ethiopian eunuch pattern). Acts 8:29–30 • Gathering / Harvest Grace — the capacity to draw a crowd or an individual toward the message without manipulation. Acts 8:5–6 II. THE WORK • Practice clear, simple articulation of the gospel — sin, the cross, repentance, and new birth. • Equip the saints for the work of witnessing rather than doing all outreach personally (Ephesians 4:12). • Build a follow-up pathway: every convert is handed to discipleship, not left to drift (Acts 8:14–17). • Go where sent, even to unlikely or desert places, trusting the Spirit's timing (Acts 8:26). • Guard against reducing the gospel to persuasion technique; the message, not the method, carries the power. III. THE FUNCTION • Brings increase to the Body from outside its walls; the harvesting office of the fivefold. • Equips and mobilizes the whole congregation to witness, not only the specially gifted. • Hands new believers to the teaching, pastoral, and apostolic offices for establishment and growth. • Confirms the gospel with works that follow the word, after the pattern of Philip's ministry in Samaria. GUARDRAIL No mentee engages in outreach alone without a partner and without reporting back to the mentor. Converts are always connected to the local house for discipleship — evangelism that does not hand off to discipleship is left undone.
