Podcast Drop: Reflections on the TEDxThirdWard Stage with Dr. Amber Gunner
Semi-finalists — here’s something special for you. In this episode of the TEDxThirdWard podcast, Dr. Amber Gunner reflects on her own TEDx experience: the preparation, the challenges, and the insights she gained along the way. Her perspective is a powerful reminder that the TEDx stage is more than just a platform — it’s a process that transforms both the speaker and the audience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLvCGXG42e8 As you’re preparing your own submissions, take a listen and think about what lessons from her journey might apply to yours. What part of the TEDx process do you think will stretch you the most?

My challenge is putting years of experiences, studies, and subject matter expertise into a time limit to benefit others. Many feel the same as I do but don't know how to express it to the greater mass.

Dr. Amber Gunner was awesome in the interview...Asking for help and not having to shoulder the load resonates with me. Like she said, we all have a story inside of us.

I'm Coach A.D. Jenkins from Irving, TX by way of Waterproof, LA. What bothers me is a child could watch the adults they trust—coaches, parents, officials—turn a game into a battleground, and carry that trauma longer than any lesson the sport was meant to teach.

@Dr. Susie Hansley Ph.D. Hello Dr...not just as a coach...but as an official, spectator, and youth sports advocate. Thanks for responding
