Seeking advice on a healthcare start-up
Hi everyone, I’ve been working on a startup called **Krama** — a smart queue management system designed specifically for Indian clinics to reduce patient waiting time and bring order to daily walk-ins. The idea came from observing how chaotic clinic queues can get. Krama helps clinics: • Manage multiple doctors with separate live queues • Handle walk-ins + bookings in one simple flow • Improve patient throughput without changing their existing process • Give patients visibility on their turn instead of waiting blindly We’re starting with a few clinics in North Bangalore through our network, and the early response has been very positive. I’m currently looking for feedback from developers, product folks, and anyone who has worked in healthcare tech: * What features would you consider critical in such a system? * Any suggestions on scaling this across cities? Would love to hear your thoughts and advice 🙏

Hi Tejas, its great to see that you've already started testing out your product in a few clinics. One problem that I see is that clinics may have different workflows, meaning that you may have to adapt your product to fit to the individual queuing systems of each clinic. I would also want to look into key performance metrics such as the amount of time your queue management system saves patients on average as well as the number of additional patients your system allows clinics to get through. This gives you evidence you can take to other clinics, which should allow you to expand. I've got a couple of questions: How do you plan to expand to other clinics, are you solely relying on your network or do you have a marketing strategy? What is your revenue model? How do you plan to generate money? I hope this helps. It'd be great to have a chat to see what other areas we could help you with!
