I run a YouTube growth agency and have experience with helping many creators in the past, so I believe I can give my 2 cents. 1. You need a team around you - you can't do everything alone. Many creators who start their journey think they need thousands of dollars to afford an editor for their videos, or a thumbnail designer, but that's simply not the case at all. There are many young hustlers who are very skilled in their work who do the work for cheap. People from third world countries would work for even $5 an hour simply because it is a lot more money where they are from. 2. Consistency is the key to success in all realms. You can't be having random boosts in activity and then going silent for months, the algorithm won't favor you. 3. Binge watch already existing creators in your niche and study every single aspect of their videos. From the style of editing, to their titles, to their description, their thumbnails and even the tags that they use. 4. You don't have to rewire the structure of YouTube, that's what people get wrong. Many are afraid of copying (of course never blatantly copy everything from another video) but viewers tend to binge watch the same type of content, whether that be motivational content, challenges videos, pranks and everything else. So don't be afraid to copy the current trending videos and add your own twist and style to it to make it your own There are many other little things that play the role, but these are the 3 general things that I believe contribute the most towards growth.
