How to improve your English fast?
Hello! How are you guys doing? I’ve been learning English in school for almost my whole life, but it wasn't as useful as I’d hoped because it relied entirely on grammar books with no real practice or exposure to native content. However, the moment I started watching movies and series exclusively in English, I truly started assimilating the language. I realized you need to learn the way kids actually learn languages, by just repeating what they hear, with no strict grammar or pronunciation rules. This approach also helps you learn words and idioms in context, creating a mental connection between a feeling and a phrase. Because of this, you don't have to force yourself to memorize vocabulary, you'll naturally find yourself using high-level words and phrasal verbs at the exact right moment. Also, I've noticed that most people make mistakes with English prepositions, but when you apply this immersion technique, you'll never face that issue. Hello Burt, in my experience, accuracy and fluency do not work against each other. Once you reach a certain level of confidence, you start absorbing English from movies, YouTube, and real conversations, so you do not have to think about every word. You are almost repeating phrases and patterns you have already heard. Speaking a lot will make you more fluent and confident, but that confidence can take a hit in high-level work conversations where the language is more advanced. That is why you still need to spend a lot of time listening, especially to content related to your field. This helps you pick up the right jargon, phrasing, and context, so instead of translating separate words, you can use full expressions naturally and accurately.

I sincerely want to help you realize your career and life dreams by coaching and teaching you business English! The group group will be offered to present members for $15 per month to receive at least 2 intermediate/advanced group classes per week. About to Close the SKOOL Community; Tell Me Why Not!!
Most of you joined the community because you have an issue with your English! I keep putting up videos and offering free workshops but get very little engagement which makes me feel I'm missing something important; WHAT IS IT? I sincerely care about your English skills and confidence but can't help those who don't participate. My plan is to use the community in the teacherburt.com site because the time and money I spend on this community seems like I speak and listen to almost nobody!
