السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I’m making hijrah to Medina soon, and I currently have enough savings to support myself for about a year. My main reasons are to protect my iman and seek beneficial Islamic knowledge, but I don’t currently have a stable source of income. After speaking to friends and family, they raised concerns that I will end up returning to the US once my savings run out. They advised me to stay for now, build an online source of income, and make hijrah later when I’m more financially secure. Now I’m conflicted. Should I go now with the savings I have, or stay temporarily, establish an income, and go later?
