I have a question for you.
How long does it take you to go from just waking up to walking into work for a full shift of work? When thinking about your answer, imagine waking up to the sight of someone with a stopwatch and clipboard saying, “GO!” How long does it take you to get ready? Where are you fast? Where are you slow? What time is for you? What time isn’t? Comment below⬇️ I’m super interested.

@Michael Martin wellllll I wake up 3-ish hours earlier before the time I know I have to be at the hospital. I’m a literal sloth when I wake up and everything takes me double the time it’s supposed to. The order goes something like this -dreading the day and staring into the distance while I fall in and out of sleep (~10 mins) -Showering (~20 mins because I have to convince myself to step out of the hot water and into the cold) -Breakfast (~25 mins prepping and devouring) -Putting together what to wear and ironing it (~10 mins) -Packing my bag for the day (~5 mins) -Driving to work (~1 hour) And I always arrive 15-30 mins early than I’m supposed to start so that I have time to put my stuff away and prepare the things I’m gonna be taking with me on rounds (my clipboards, pens, IDs and badges, money, stethoscopes) and also to briefly go through overnight events that I might need to know before starting my rounds (which is when I officially begin work (7:30 AM))

And I honestly don’t think anyone with a clipboard and a stopwatch can make me go faster, because if I do, I think I’d be forgetting things. My morning routine is the only me time that I feel I get throughout the day
