Can we all take a moment to talk about prophet Musa
The end of the story of Musa actually hurts my heart. The Israelites had seen so many miracles: they saw the sea split they saw food come from heaven, they even saw Musa talking to god. But you know what the 70 elders said? They said we’ll only believe your god if we see him.

Not only that but what also hurts is when Musa had went to the mountains for a 40 days, a man named samiri made a golden cow for them to worship. They abandoned Islam after seeing countless signs. Just an FYI to you Muslims: I THINK it’s haram to say ‘Holy Cow!’ As this is where the phrase likely originated. I don’t know, but even if it isn’t it still wouldn’t be good. It also might have come from Hinduism belief so I think it’s best not to say such speech. Allah knows best
