HOW TO TRAIN YOUR MIND TO BE DETACHED FROM RESULTS
This post is for you if you stuggle to stay present, focused on your inputs and aloof to the outputs... I know how it feels to be confused and frustrated about results, I've been there. I used to think, "how am I supposed to work and not care about the results? whats the point of even working?" And I was in a really tough spot in 2024 when I tried to build my second business as a freelancer. I was working for free for 6 months, made little to no money at all. So it makes sense why I was frustrated, haha But anyway. The key is to just focus on quality input, and almost forget about the output. Consistently improve your inputs and get better at what you do everyday. Chant hare krsna as much as possible. I actually keep the mantra playing in the backround while I'm working in sales. Then in between calls I can easily remember to bring my mind back to the mantra. Makes work more fun, easy, and devotional. I guess being attached to results means forgetting krishna huh... I dunno, that was literally just a thought as I'm typing this. Maybe it's true tho. Next is to focus on the present moment. Don't dwell on what if, or whats next. Stay present, remember krishna, and the results just come. Even if they don't come, at least you don't create your own suffering by being attached. The key here is also. Don't try and build a business without an income stream to support you. This really isn't a smart idea. I've done it myself, but I really don't recommend it. Being detached from results is a daily practice, it's part of your daily sadhana. If you keep the awareness throughout the day and reflect, ask yourself, "was I devoted in action, or in love with the outcome?" By practicing this awareness daily. Attachment slowly melts away. I hope this helps Drew
