I often hear people say, when you're door-knocking, never go inside the house on the first knock/meeting. Always book an appointment to come back. Why exactly is that? Is it to test how serious they are? For me, I'll probably be door-knocking in Burnaby, which is about a 30-minute drive from my house. In most cases, it's not convenient for me to pop back tomorrow. To be efficient, I'm thinking to myself that I've got five minutes, so I'll take a look inside, take some pictures and video, which will allow me to do with CMA. I would book a Zoom call on the spot, ideally for tomorrow, to review the CMA and attempt to go straight into a listing presentation. What are your thoughts on this? I don't see the point in coming all the way back to the house, going inside, and taking pictures for five minutes. Go back home and then come back to present the data. Thanks!
