Welcome!
This is not a place to collect ideas. It's a place to experience them. This month, we will be exploring: What does it mean to live philosophy, rather than just think about it? Start here: 1) Who are you? 2) What brought you here? 3) What are you curious about? Then respond to one post. That’s enough.

Warm greetings everybody! 1) I am Aaron, 25 years old and I am from Heidelberg (I grew up here and now I am back again at my parent's place after my Bachelors for a gap year) 2) I came into touch with eastern philosophies through a book on Yoga and through a silence meditation retreat. Through a medical backstory of mine I felt myself turning away from western medicine and towards eastern medicine - in particular chinese medicine - because of it's all-encompassing way of thought. Furthermore, I found myself being more curious about a sport that would entail a philosophy, a way of life. A friend then introduced me to Taekwon-Do, which felt like a positive mental and physical challenge. 3) I am curious about paths to being more patient with oneself and more self-loving. I would love to further explore mental and physical limits and inner growth. I am open-minded to learn from everybody's experiences and stories. I am excited for what the discussions in this forum can shed light on :).
