The true way to navigate power.
“We cannot wish away what psychologist Alfred Adler called the "will to power," the desire to overcome. "We shall overcome" is not just a civil-rights rallying cry—it is a human instinct to achieve efficacy and competence in adaptation. The issue should never be how to get rid of the urge for power, masculine or feminine. The real issue is how to steward it, and how to channel our other instincts along with it into life-giving and world-building activities.” Denying that you have power in pursuit of being a king will stunt your progression because it creates a paradox in your psyche. Are you not a king? Does a king not have abilities to do things other cannot? Don’t tell yourself “I don’t want this power”. The call to action requires a forward moving force, and YOU are that force. But steward yourself. Keep yourself in check and balanced. We’ll help you. Have a blessed day, everyone.

I don’t like a lot of what Internet gurus say, but there was one I really liked. Someone came up to him and said, “One day I’m going to be somebody and you’ll know…” but he cut her off and said, “Please look at my face. You’re somebody NOW.” He talked more but went on to make the point - you are incredibly important now. Here’s the link to that, worth the watch: https://youtu.be/SYKkQAP8cK4?si=O2x7GstXRQLmvcpM The power is in us. We are bright and awesome beyond measure. The incredible is already in all of us - it’s just up to us to bring it out.
Not so Clutter free
I can certainly look up some things online, and I definitely will. But what are some things that have helped YOU GUYS to keep your homes or living spaces (even office spaces) clean and organized? What has helped you to remember to declutter and always keep clean spaces?

Others have posted some awesome ideas. I like “habit stacking”. It is where you tie the habit you want to a habit you already do. For example, if you always come home for lunch - make it part of coming home at lunch time to walk in the door and immediately clean the dishes. Make it so that “I come home for lunch” = “I do the dishes”. You can tie any habit to a pre-existing one. It is easier when they’re strung along together.
August Goals Accountability Update
What’s up my kings! Thought I’d come on here and give you and update of how my August goals are going. We’re 9 days into the month so I’m going to let you know how many days I’ve been able to successfully do my goals for the day: -Only eat food that are rated 60 or higher on the Yuca app. If I fail, I have to start over for 30 days. (9/9) -Switch off every day at the gym doing: chest, upper back, biceps, triceps, shoulders one day, and abs, lower back, squat machine, quad machine the next day. (9/9) -In bed by 10pm every night (6/9) -2 page scripture study every day (6/9) -Read 10 min from a business book every day (6/9) -10 min house clean every day (5/9) -Plan out the following day at 9:45 every night (6/9) I’ve also lost 5 pounds so far in 9 days, so that’s a huge win!

You’re winning all your goals more than 50% of the time. You’re having a killer month. Great job man!
Healthy Routine
I have a goal. I want to start waking up at 6:30 every morning. To help with this goal, I want to start sticking to my already in place for the last year Alarm that goes off at 10:30 every night to go to bed that I just ignore.

Good luck with your goals! I love staying up late and found it was easier to go to bed if I read/didn’t get on screens after 9. Not sure if you need that or it helps, but it could be something to try
Who the hell are you?
I’m still listening to Atomic Habits. I would beg anyone who sees this post, consider reading that book with the intention to learn. It’s a game changer. From my listening today: “It’s not about achieving external measures of success, like earning more money, losing weight or reducing stress… Fundamentally, habits aren’t about having something - they’re about becoming someone. Ultimately, Your habits matter because they help you become the type of person you wish to be. They are the channel through which you develop your deepest beliefs about yourself. Quite literally, you become your habits.”
