How do I improve in basketball to make jv
I need help. I'm a SG/SF but I don't have good handles and my shot isn't amazing.

I recommend constraining your handle workouts. Get a slip sleeve or a tennis ball and practice with them diligently. When you get in games, your handle will feel smooth and effortless. For shooting, just get loads of reps
New Jersey on top
New Jersey has the best basketball players hands down. (Totally not biased)

idk wtd
I have seen videos before saying, "One of the things you should be doing as a freshman is playing as much 5v5 or 4v4 as possible, to simulate real games." And thats valid, since i need to work on being more aggressive. But i've seen another dude say, "You shouldnt be doing pickup 5v5 bc it just promotes bad habits. He says what "you"(I) should be doing instead is reps etc etc etc. Both points are valid. Shooting is sort of a weakness... but also not, so idk what i should do. Anybody?

Going left
My left is almost as strong as my right. Unfortunately, in games I NEVER go left. What are some ways to make GOING left a habit beyond just making it strong? Any everyday tasks yall do with your left?
Sticking to play vs doing own thing
My coach frequently asks me to stay in a certain position (corner or wing) for the entirety of the possession. Should I continue to listen to him or move around and cut frequently--which will allow me to get the ball and score more?
