It was a beautiful spring day and the Kid went out in the yard to play. At this time of day on the street, the front yard was great for children to meet. Mom called out, “Have fun!” The Kid said, “Thanks, Mom!” And proceeded to play. That's when the Kid saw one friend "Fox" flying a kite. The kid ran up to his friend, Fox, and asked, "Can I try to fly your kite?" "Sure!" Fox said with delight. The leaves swirled through the gardens on the street, mirroring the excitement that was swirling through the Kid's mind! Wind got stronger and the Kid tugged a little too hard, and whoosh —the kite zoomed, dipped, and bonked Mr. Jack’ hat right off his head!
