Latin style beat
What’s going on everyone, it’s been a while since I posted anything and I wanted to share something interesting with you all. This is a lot different than what I was previously making. However I love it, I had a conversation a while back that helped me change my view on sync. What I came to realize is I didn’t necessarily need to change who I am and what I create. So today I’m presenting a Latin style beat that I produced. If you all would be so kind to leave me some honest feedback. My biggest question for you all is do you believe it is sync ready? Why or why not? I made this a little different than a traditional beat it doesn’t have a normal song structure on purpose. I still plan to work on some cinematic projects but for now I want to focus on what I can get done now. So I can build my catalog. Hope you enjoy. Key questions: does it fit the style of music I was trying to convey. Still a little new to this genre and I feel like it may be missing a few elements. Based on your experience is this ready to pitch to a sync libary? How are the dynamics, does it need more “space” or spots with no noise? One of my biggest concerns with this is the flute melody is there anyway I could improve it, or does it fit? I was trying my best not to over complicate it. Finally, how does the mix sound? I have done some basic eq and very little effects it sounded good to me. However I would love to hear your thoughts on it. https://s.disco.ac/lyyeoxtjqmiw

Another note I want to add - instead of bringing that shaker down what if you moved it ahead like 1/8th note? Where its at now rhythmically pushing the beats down onto the down beat as opposed to keeping it in the pocket with the clave rimshots on the 'up beat' and then i think if you emphasize that shaker with a rim/kick or something to make it feel locked in with the rest that could help. Worth a try..

You could try something similar with the 808s, brass and flutes so they are not so rhythmically straight. Try moving them around by an 8th note. Remember you can try stuff and save it as a different version and still have this version if the vibe is off... Gimme that bounce! Another thing... i like how the 808 comes in ahead of the section....

@Kaleb Blackard @Tim Jeffcoat you can never be too organized honestly. but its easier to set up system ahead of time and stick to them then try to organize the mess afterwards. Sync is especially good for this, whether you pursue it as seriously as we are, it opens your eyes and mind up to the level of organization that is really needed to be successful in music and life in general/as an entrepreneur.
Where can I take these?
Now that @Glenn Macrae got me straight on how to present….. https://s.disco.ac/qqvfuwfhcszg This particular playlist is just a few HIP HOP tracks, Idea’s and some I would like to consider for possible sync…your feed back is appreciated.

Hi @Nebu Rameses , want to reiterate my appreciation for your enthusiasm but you will get better engagement and become a better asset to the community if you ask specific questions especially when seeking feedback. Or are you looking to collaborate? if so, with who and why? Also, please a quick minute to review the HOW TO ASK QUESTIONS (Without Wasting Everyone's Time): DON'T ask questions Google can answer in 30 seconds. "What's a PRO?" → Google it."How do I export audio from Logic?" → YouTube it. DO ask specific, sync-related questions with context: ❌ BAD: "How do I get my music in sync?"✅ GOOD: "I've finished 3 tracks and organized my catalog in Disco. Should I pitch directly to supervisors or join a library first? I'm leaning toward libraries because I don't have contacts yet. Thoughts?" The formula: 1. Where you're at right now 2. What you've already tried/considered 3. Your specific question or 2-3 options you're weighing Give context. Don't write War & Peace. Be specific. We're all here to help, but we're also all busy finishing our own tracks. Make it easy for people to help you. HOW TO SHARE TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK: 1. Upload to Disco.ac only - We're all using it, keep everything in one place 2. Share the Disco link in Track Feedback & Finishing category 3. Be specific about what feedback you need: "Is this mix sync-ready?" "Does this hit the 'uplifting indie' vibe or miss?" "I'm stuck on the bridge at 1:32 - does it work?" General "thoughts?" posts get general responses.Specific questions get specific help. 🔴NO PROMOTION OR ADVERTISING. ALL PROMO POSTS WILL GET DELETED.🔴 Ask yourself 'is my post or comment providing value to the community or is it self serving?'

@Nebu Rameses Overall, digging the sounds a lot. You have a clear sound that permeates through which is great. My main questions as you'll see again and again below is 'do any contain samples?' 'what is your vision for the beats or hook-only tracks?' 'what themes do they give you?' what themes/lanes do you feel like you can be successful in overall? Where do you hear your music being used (specifically) in tv, film, ads and video games? More soon... Ol Faithful - love the live drum/organ reminds me of Just Blaze . Love the flows of the MCs especially the 2nd one. Giving me a lil new school mystikal vibes - any samples? Those even if cleared are gonna be problematic and push against the one stop advantage that indie artists/producers have. 70’s gangster - good vibe. Something feels a little flamm-y with the crash. Kick could come up and hats come down for my taste. I Won’t Lose - Crash can come down. Love the 70s vibe and smooth chords. Great lyrical content for motivational angle. I could hear someone like nipsey hussle on this or jcole. Flesh out the arrangement, add verses and should be good. A New Beginning - love the loose drums on this and fills. Same question about samples. Come On & Walk With Me - need to balance the volumes between this track and I Won’t Lose. Think of the listener experience and remember who your ideal listener is - do you want them constantly grabbing to turn up/down your tunes.**** Bring level up (limiter) and flesh out. What’s your angle for this? I could hear female vocalist on this like a jhene Aiko vibe. I would pull out the vocal in that case - what theme does the beat give you? Check universal themes here
