the bug wasn't the login 🔑
a client wrote this morning. she'd spotted a small mistake on her own site – a typo, two minutes of work – and she couldn't get in to fix it. so she sat there waiting for me. over a typo. the login was broken, sure. that part I can fix in an hour. but that isn't the actual bug. the actual bug is that I built her something that still needs me. no password reset. no way back in on her own. one forgotten login and the whole thing quietly went back to being my problem instead of hers. I shipped her a tool and accidentally kept the keys. so today I'm building the boring part. real accounts, a forgotten-password flow, a code by email, and a record of who changed what. nothing clever about any of it. it's just the part that means she never has to write to me again to fix her own typo. it also moved my definition of done. "it works" isn't it. "she can run it without me" is. that's my day 👇 what are you working on today? doesn't have to be impressive – half-built, stuck, or just annoying all count. say what it is and I'll tell you the honest fastest way I'd point Claude at it. if it's something I've already built, I'll just send you how I did it. @Joao Carvalho – blog helper v2, or something new? @Uzair Nazeer – anything on the factory-data side this week? @Katerina Bakunina – did the image-style thing get any further? your experience, multiplied. 💛

Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to work on my AI projects. However, if I do find some time this week, I plan on expanding the blog helper to incorporate different writing styles. For example: fiction, non-fiction (philosophical essays, scientific articles, etc).
what must NEVER happen in your work? 🚩
I've been building the next classroom course this week, and it kept circling back to one question. turns out it's the hardest one to answer and the most valuable. not "what do you do." what must never happen in your work? here's why that matters more than it sounds. an agent can look up almost anything about your field. the standards, the formulas, the vocabulary, the best practice – all of it is a search away. what it cannot look up is the rule you learned by watching something go badly wrong. so it will break that rule. cheerfully, confidently, probably in the first week. and you're the one who signs off on the output. the fix is almost stupidly simple: write the rule down once, somewhere it reads every session. most of these rules are under ten words. the one I keep coming back to – never present an estimate as a quotation – is seven, and it prevents an entire category of expensive mistake. no amount of general intelligence gets you that. you only get it from someone who has watched it go wrong. so, one line in the comments 👇 what must never happen in your work? mine: never a number without its source. unverified figures don't go into research, and a sourced one takes ten seconds to check instead of an afternoon. and a few of you I'd genuinely like to hear from, because I have a guess: @Uzair Nazeer – LN app creation?. what's the reading you'd never act on without checking twice? @Amy Zinserling – what would you never say in a session, no matter where a client takes it? @Tim Adams – what would you never put in writing to a prospect? @Monosriz Dutta – twenty years of transformation work. what's the shortcut that always costs more than it saves? @Joao Carvalho – you publish weekly now. what would you never let go out under your name? wrong guesses welcome – correcting me counts as an answer 😄

@Roman Martins This is a great question and it was interesting to read the other's responses as well. For me, I would never want to send out something that is so edited by AI that my voice gets lost, or even diminished. I'm okay with sending out something that a lot of people don't agree with. However, if a piece doesn't resonate with my truth, I'm using AI as a broken tool and doing a disservice to my readers.
Joao named one annoying task. a day later it was a working tool 🧱
ten days ago @Joao Carvalho lho dropped one line in here – the part of his blog process he doesn't enjoy doing. a day later he shipped it: bloghelper-phi.vercel.app – a publishing checklist, a pattern read-out of his own posts, a formatting desk. his voice untouched, the boring parts gone. go look, it's genuinely good. and I realized – that's how everything good in this room has started so far. Katerina asked one question about brand images. Aaron asked about a video twin. one honest line, then a build. so I want to try something this week. call it the board 🧱 drop ONE line below: the task in your week you'd hand off first. that's the whole ask. "the friday report." "chasing suppliers for spec sheets." "the same email for the tenth time." if it annoys you, it qualifies. my side of the deal: I'll reply to every single one with the exact agent brief I'd write for it – in the thread, free, for anyone to steal. a few guesses I'm curious about 👇 @Uzair Nazeer – the factory-data report nobody reads, or alarm triage? @Tim Adams – the notes and follow-ups after every call? @Amy Zinserling g – session notes → the follow-up message? @Monosriz Dutta – the discovery doc that's 80% the same every time? @Katerina Bakunina – your consistent-image question IS this. put it on the board and we'll build it properly. wrong guesses welcome – correcting me counts as an answer 😄 and if you're reading this thinking "mine's too small to mention" – that's exactly the one I want. small is where every good agent starts. if this catches on, the board opens every monday. your experience, multiplied 💛

Meeting notes assistant. Functions: - Organizing meeting notes - Turns meeting notes to possible action items. - Highlights moments of discussion and confusion during the meeting - Suggestions on how to improve the flow of meetings for the future - etc etc

@Roman Martins Thank you for all the feedback and suggestions. I'll see about implementing them. And I appreciate the heads up about the GDPR. Something that I definitely need to implement. This tool is actually for my Amnesty International Student Group. We have weekly meetings and I thought a tool that would help us beyond note-taking may be useful.
🧱 the levels have names now - and they're a craft ladder, not a points game
🪨 Level 1 - The Apprentice ✍️ Level 2 - The First Brief 🧰 Level 3 - The Toolmaker 📐 Level 4 - The Judge 🚢 Level 5 - The Shipper 🎛️ Level 6 - The Operator 🏭 Level 7 - The Master 👥 Level 8 - A Whole Team ✖️ Level 9 - MULTIPLIED have been cooking this for a few days.. its live now. I named them after how every craft has always worked. you arrive green. someone hands you your first real task. eventually you make your own tools. then you're the one who judges the work. then you run the whole workshop. that ladder used to take twenty years to climb. agents didn't change the ladder - they changed how fast you can climb it. and here's the fun part: 79% of us are sitting at Level 1 right now. that's not embarrassing - that's a workshop on opening day 😄 so tell me in one line: what does YOUR Level 9 look like? what would MULTIPLIED actually mean for you? "my weekends back." "double the clients, same hours." "a product that sells while i sleep." "never writing that report again." drop it below - i want to see what everyone in here is climbing toward 👀 (and levels rise by showing up and helping others. no grinding required 💛)

@Amy Zinserling This is definitely the case for me as well. I don't want AI so I can work less. I want AI so I can focus more on things that matter to me.
Blog assistant V2
I am quite satisfied with the two new versions of my personal blog assistant and the blog assistant for ghost.io users. Changes since V1: - Full Post Content Fetching - App downloads complete post text (not just RSS metadata). This does not apply to "subscriber-only" content - Added RSS RSS Paste Fallback (added instructions on how to do this) - Structure Pattern Detection - Identifies series vs standalone reflections, related post references, and theme evolution - Enhanced Pattern Display - Shows blog structure, format mix (series + standalone breakdown), emerging/dormant themes - Smarter Topic Suggestions - Ideas are now specific to your blog's actual structure, not generic template - Better UI I suggest looking at my own personal blog assistant to see the full potential of the current version as I have no paid content. My personal blog assistant: https://bloghelper-phi.vercel.app/ Ghost.io user's blog assistant: https://ghostbloggersassistant.vercel.app/ Looking forward to your feedback and suggestions :)

Forgot to mention. I used the assistant for my latest post and it certainly made the process easier.

Curious about AI, building things, and understanding people. Looking forward to learning, experimenting, and seeing what everyone is building.
