Exploring the Idea of Publishing an Anthology 📘
I’ve been playing with an idea and wanted to think it through... Instead of writing a book solo, I’m considering publishing an anthology—where I choose the topic as the publisher, then invite creators or industry experts to contribute content inside the book. 👉 Contributor Model - I select the topic + overall direction of the book - Reach out to ~6 aligned creators / experts - Each contributor pays $325 to submit their content 💥 They get: - Their work published in a book - Instant elevation + credibility - A way to say they’re a published contributor Contributors would not earn royalties from the book; instead, the primary goal would be to push the book toward bestseller status and use that momentum for visibility and credibility. As the publisher, this model would bring in close to $2k, which could be used to cover the costs of creating, publishing, and promoting the book. 👉 Overall, it feels like a win-win: contributors gain added visibility and authority by having their content featured in a published book, while the publisher maintains full control over the quality, branding, and launch strategy to ensure the strongest possible outcome. Curious if anyone has ever worked this model... Thoughts? Feedback?

That's a good one, been looking into different genre too, Anthology is great
Writing the Book Is Only Half the Work
Many people think publishing the book is the finish line. In reality, it’s the starting point. Finding your first real readers, building trust, and keeping momentum after launch matter just as much as writing the manuscript. For authors here what part of the journey surprised you the most?

Why I Stopped Using ChatGPT for Coloring Books
I used ChatGPT for a while to generate coloring pages, but if you’ve tried it, you already know the pain 😅 Broken lines. Weird shading. Styles that don’t match what you asked for. Too much back-and-forth prompting. A few days ago, someone who follows my YouTube channel reached out and put me onto a new tool called Colorin AI. 🌈 I’ve been testing it out, and honestly… it’s just easier. No fighting with prompts. Clean coloring lines on the first try. Styles actually look like *coloring pages* — from super simple kids pages to more detailed adult designs. I tested multiple styles, downloaded pages, and even printed a few. It nailed what I wanted without revisions, which is the biggest win for me. If you’re creating coloring books (or even just pages for kids), this tool saves a ton of time. I’ll drop my affiliate link below for anyone who wants to check it out. Pricing is reasonable, and you can use code CREATOR25 for 20% off YOU CAN CHECK IT OUT HERE If you’ve tried ChatGPT for coloring books before and got frustrated, this might be worth a look.

🔍 Top Takeaways from the Amazon Scavenger Hunt
Earlier this week I hosted a little game called the Amazon Scavenger Hunt. If you missed it or didn’t participate yet, go check it out here 👉https://www.skool.com/kdp-publishing/amazon-book-scavenger-hunt The challenge was simple: Find a book you would personally buy on “How to Be a Successful Solopreneur.” After seeing everyone’s responses, here are my 3 biggest takeaways from this exercise: 1️⃣ Everyone Chose a Different Book This was HUGE. Even though everyone searched around the same topic, almost no one picked the exact same book. 📌 That tells us something important: The first book on the search results page is not the only book people buy. There is room for your book, even in competitive spaces. So if you’ve been telling yourself, “My book won’t stand a chance,” this proves otherwise. 2️⃣ Titles & Covers Actually Matter When people are making a buying decision, visuals + clarity win. 💥 Patterns I noticed: - Bright, bold covers (especially orange) were picked more than once - Titles that clearly spoke to a specific concern stood out 👀 Some people gravitated toward: - Broad “how-to” solopreneur books - Financial or income-focused angles - Books that blended business with everyday life Same topic. Different positioning. Big difference in appeal. 3️⃣ Keywords Are How Your Book Gets Found Almost every search included: - “solopreneur” - “entrepreneur” Many searches were long-tail phrases, like: @Angel Conway “books on how to be a successful entrepreneur doing most of the things by myself” This is exactly why keyword research matters. If your book isn’t aligned with how people actually search, it’s invisible — no matter how good the content is. If this exercise showed you gaps in your own title, cover, or keywords… that’s a good thing. Awareness is the first step to fixing it. Curious — what takeaway surprised you the most? 👇
