December Spotlight Call: Valerie Horner
Our December Spotlight call is just in time to take us into the next year with confidence! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, December 30th @ 11 CT/12 noon EST. CEO of Bravo Maritime Group (BMG), @Valerie Horner, presents a talk entitled 3 Keys to Confidence. 3 Keys to Confidence In this call, you'll learn about: Developing the PROPER MINDSET for staying safe. Expanding SITUATIONAL AWARENESS of our surroundings. Identifying TOOLS/LIFE SKILLS we already possess, practicing skills we’ve learned, and prioritizing our options. Making and using a PLAN (both before and on the spot) for assessing threats, and avoiding or evading unsafe situations. Safety is our most basic need and once you feel safe, you will start showing up authentically like you belong--because you do. Add this to your calendar now so on December 30th, you can join the call and discover the 3 Keys to Confidence.

Delegation!
Just got off a good Coffee Chat with @Valerie Horner and @Taylor Horner. The topic today was delegation. You can watch the topic video in Module 3, Lesson 3 of The Visionary CEO Shift Blueprint course in the classroom. Coffee Chat topics will continue to be pulled from that course through the end of the year. In 2026, we have a line up of new topics you don't want to miss.

What is Co-working?
I realized today that not everyone may understand the concept of co-working. The Co-working Circle Live Call happens every Tuesday at 0700 EST. You will have access to the classroom tile to read about how the co-working session works. This is not a course and does not include the link to join. The link to join will be at the top of the community page at the time of the call if you are eligible to join. Working at home can often be lonely and it's easy to get distracted with other things that need to get done in our homes or personal lives. The Co-working Circle Live call allows you to have one focused hour each week where you are committed to working on something on your business and knowing that you are not alone. 🌻 When you come into the call, have your camera and mic on. We will all state what we are working on during that session. This helps us stay accountable to what we want to accomplish. 🌻 When everyone has named the project they're working on for that session, cameras and mics may be muted. 🌻 If you have a question that someone in the group might be able to help you with, turn on your camera and mic and ask the question. Think of this as working in a cubicle with another co-worker. You are separated by a wall and both working independently, but a quick question might come up that your co-worker may be able to answer. 🌻 After about fifty minutes, the facilitator will ask everyone to turn their camera and mics back on. We will then have a round robin to celebrate the progress we made.

@Julie Siler Closer, but it did not get launched. New Goal, by Jan 1st to have an introductory on demand course!

@Julie Siler technically, we did launch, but internally not publicly. I tend to want to see progress or what it will look like before I get to the end of it, so I need to focus on getting to end and then launching or trying to break it up better. I like perfected, not perfect. I need to find a way to marry those into courses, may be a better cadence (my new favorite) for flow/process when building courses!
Finding Your Voice
"As you find your voice, your people will begin to find you." - Russell Brunson Ok, so that's a cool quote, but let's tear it apart a little. It's not like the Field of Dreams quote: "Build it and they will come." You cannot create a website, an offer, or any part of your business and not talk about it everywhere. People don't just come. They come through attraction, relationships, and engagement. The purpose of my business and community is to create an environment that takes founders from chaotic operations to clear, confident CEO leadership through structure, systems, and precision. Finding your voice means consistent action, finding your cadence, discovering what you really, really like to talk about and then, finding the unique way you like to talk about it. You'll find that part of my voice in my posts and comments here and social media include stories/analogies. This is what you have to know to find your voice, so your people can find you: Without action, no one will know about your business. Without consistency, your people will scroll past your posts. Without engagement, your people may say to themselves, "I'll check it out later," and never come back. Without an invitation with simple steps on what to do next (CTA), you're just adding information to a busy scroll.

I feel like there is something there with the attraction, engagement, relationship, and invitation. Like a simple/basic/foundation marketing plan. I feel like when we look at content it should have these four elements. Content meaning advertisements, website posting, classes/workshops, consulting, social media posting, and etc. Invitation - how do they hear about us? referral? social media? Attraction - what made them stay, and not say, I will look at later and not come back? Relationship - what started the momentum/movement and kept it going? Have I made it easy to interact? Engagement - what is the energy being exchanged?
