Koko and I are working hard at Sundaying - lying in the sun, reading the second book in a series from an author I only recently discovered. I'm 13 pages in when this sentence made me pause and PAWS... "When her husband died, five years back, she learned the skill of taking every scrap of happiness where she could find it." I lay the book down on my chest and took some moments to focus on the feel of Koko's warmth on my legs, feel her sigh and shift a little, took a slow deep breath myself, softened internally, and was grateful for her presence. I took that morsel of happiness and made it bigger by being present with it. A very PAWS moment. ✨
