Hey, what’s the best knife and tool ‘set’ you can recommend for getting doing more stuff in the outdoors… bushcraft carving and making all sorts…. Ty

Personally I like a cheap and cheerful hultafors bushcraft knife. Very sturdy knife and great for beginners. And if your looking for just an all round knife which will do some bushcrafty bits I’d get an opinel folding knife :)

Good morning Recalibrators! This week's Mini-Challenge is all about the weather. In order to recalibrate ourselves in becoming more connected with ourselves, others and the environment, we need to get comfortable being uncomfortable. The best way to do that, is to get outdoors during the uncomfortable weather months! So, this week, I'm inviting you to get outdoors in the rain (or what might be considered 'poor' weather). The skies may be dreich & grey but it is so wholesome when we accept the uncomfortable nature of the weather we're exposed to. It doesn't have to be long, an hour or two but push yourself and spend some time in uncomfortable weather! You know what to do post-challenge 👇👇👇

Box Breathing 🔳
Good Morning ! I was out for my morning run this morning and thought I'd share a useful tool I use when feeling overwhelmed or stressed: Box Breathing. Box Breathing is a breathing technique that we can use to help us Recalibrate or reset our nervous system, putting us back into a place of rational and calm thinking. How to do it: 🟢Breathe in for 4 counts 🟢Hold for 4 counts 🟢Breathe out for 4 counts 🟢Hold for 4 counts Repeat until you feel settled. ⚠️ Remember, if you feel light headed or dizzy, have a break. Give it a go and let us know in the comments if it worked for you and how you felt about it 👇 P.S: First time I've recorded myself so be kind ✌️
