January is off to a strong start over at Impact Mastermind. Last Wednesday, we set goals for the coming week and agreed to post the results here by this Wednesday. It is now Thursday, and I didn't meet the goal. Something better happened! I'll explain briefly. Our weekly mastermind sessions often focus on recognizing how we get in our own way and on exploring how to build on the things we've already accomplished to achieve our desired outcomes. And you know what? My weekly goal would not have directly impacted the results I actually want. So I didn't do it. :) Instead, I focused my time and energy on solidifying existing opportunities in front of me that will tangibly impact my business. So today, I celebrate not meeting the goal that would have distracted me from the incredible opportunities already in front of me. The former goal wasn't bad or wrong; this just wasn't the week for it. I cannot overemphasize how powerful it is to be part of Impact Mastermind and have a team of people who are constantly reminding you of your value and how to take small steps that create huge outcomes!
