Let’s celebrate together
Kingdom parents, Every year on May 31st, we celebrate the Everything Parent Award in honor of Frances Marie Williams. This is not just another post or something we scroll past. This is a movement. My grandmother, Frances Marie Williams, raised me. She was my everything. She did everything, even when it was hard, even when nobody saw it, even when she had every reason to give up. And when I look at this community, I see her in so many of you. Parents who are tired but still show up, healing while raising others, carrying a past and still pushing forward, parents who don’t have it easy but refuse to quit. So on May 31st, we honor that. We honor you. This is how we’re showing up. You wake up intentional. Not rushing, not overwhelmed, not pouring into everyone else first. You get dressed, do your hair, get your nails done, put on something that makes you feel good. You take yourself out, whether it’s to eat, to sit in peace, or just to enjoy your own presence. You take pictures, real ones, proud ones, the kind that say “I made it through some things.” I will be sending out certificates to every parent who signs up, because you deserve to be recognized. Then we show the world. You post your pictures, you tag the community, you send them to me, and I’m going to share them so the world can see what strength really looks like, what resilience looks like, what “everything” really looks like. We celebrate everything else in this world. Now it’s time to celebrate ourselves. If you’re joining this movement, drop your name below. This is your moment. Don’t sit this one out. Because May 31st belongs to the parents who never gave up. In honor of Frances Marie Williams, let’s show the world what “everything” really looks like.

Let us pray 🧡
Father God, We come before You this morning asking You to deal with rebellion not just in our children, but in us as parents. If there is any spirit of rebellion, defiance, or resistance trying to operate in our homes, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Our homes will not be filled with confusion, disorder, or constant power struggles. But Lord, before we only look at our children… Show us ourselves. Show us where we have been inconsistent. Show us where we have avoided correction. Show us where we have led out of emotion instead of wisdom. Remind us that we are our children’s first teacher. What we model… they learn. What we allow… they repeat. What we correct… we change. So if there is any rebellion in our homes, give us the humility to ask: “Did I teach this in some way?” Not to shame us… but to grow us. Teach us how to lead with authority and consistency. Teach us how to correct without anger. Teach us how to build respect in our homes the right way. We don’t just want obedient children… We want homes built on truth, order, and understanding. So start with us, Lord. Refine us. Correct us. Strengthen us. So we can lead our children the way You’ve called us to. In Jesus’ name, Amen. If this prayer is for you today, comment: “Start with me, Lord.”

🙌🏾 Start with me Lord!
Come, Let Me Yell At You Real QUICK
Stop letting one hard day make you think you’re a bad parent. Your child had an attitude yesterday? Welcome to parenting. They didn’t listen the first time? Neither did you when you were their age. You lost your patience and had to regroup? That doesn’t make you a failur, that makes you human. Listen to me carefully. The enemy would love for you to sit in guilt, shame, and self-doubt… because tired, discouraged parents stop leading. But that’s not who you are. God trusted YOU with those children. Not the perfect parent on Instagram. Not the family that looks polished on social media. YOU. That means you already have what you need to grow, learn, and lead your home. So get up today with confidence. Pray over your children. Speak life into your house. Correct with love. Lead with courage. Because strong families are not built by perfect parents. They’re built by parents who refuse to quit on their assignment.

Parenting lessons go both ways!
Join me! For this weeks daily devotional🧡 We are jumping into a short Bible plan to start our mornings in devotion as parents. Now this one isn’t written by me… but it’s a strong starting point for us to reset, reflect, and grow in how we lead our homes. I’ll be starting tomorrow morning. If you want to join me, click the link below and let’s walk through it together this week. Let’s not just grow in knowledge… Let’s grow in how we show up for our children daily. https://bible.com/reading-plans/54008/together/79715184/invitation?token=LAM8iXznJkr3MlmMUGqWoQ&source=share

Free resurrection Sunday, teaching kit for parents
Hey family🧡 I pray you’re having a wonderful day. I just posted today’s lesson from our Disrespect Series—make sure you go check it out. Also, I won’t be online tomorrow, but feel free to stay active in the community. Post, encourage one another, and spend some time on the prayer wall. I love seeing you all show up for each other. Easter is coming, and I created something special for you and your kids 💛 I put together a FREE 5-Day Easter Resurrection Teaching Kit to help you walk your children through the real meaning of Easter in a simple and powerful way. Make sure you grab it and use it this week. And if you do it with your kids, please take pictures and send them to me. I would love to share them on Resurrection Sunday and celebrate what God is doing in your homes. I appreciate you all. I’ll see you Sunday 🙏🏽 https://www.thejourneytofindgod.com/kingdom-kids
