July Mood Board Drop: Show Us the Setup You Want to Do This Month
Thursday energy We are kicking off July with a vision post. Not what you have already done. What you WANT to do. Drop below: Share a photo, a screenshot, a Pinterest save, an inspiration image — of a draping setup you want to create or recreate this month. It could be: • A ceiling installation you have been studying • A backdrop style you want to master • A full room concept you want to pitch to a client • Something you saw at an event and could not stop thinking about Drop the vision. Because what you put your eyes on, you eventually put your hands on. And this community is full of designers who can help you figure out how to get there. Show us where you are going.

What Happens After a Client Says Yes, Be Honest
Okay tribe let us talk about something 👀 A client says yes. They are booked. Deposit paid. What happens next, on your end? Do they get: • A confirmation email within the hour • A clear timeline of what to expect from you • A contract that explains everything • A check-in before the event date • A questionnaire so you can personalize their setup Or do they get: • Silence until a week before the event • A text thread that slowly gets confusing • Questions answered only when they ask • A setup that was great — but an experience that felt disorganized Here is the truth: Clients do not only hire you for the draping. They hire you for the feeling that everything is handled. And if that feeling is missing — they will not come back. And they will not refer you. 💬 Drop below: What does your post-booking client experience actually look like right now? Be specific. Be honest. This is how we fix it.

New Week. This Week We Are Talking About the Experience You Give.
Hey PDU fam 💕 Happy Monday. Two weeks in. June is moving fast. This week we are talking about something most designers overlook completely — until they lose a client over it. The experience. Not the draping. The experience of working with you. From the first message they send to the moment you strike the last backdrop and walk out the door. Every touchpoint either builds trust or breaks it. Every interaction either confirms they made the right choice or plants a seed of doubt. And the designers who get referrals, repeat clients, and five-star reviews? They have mastered the experience — not just the install. Drop in below: ➊ What are you building or working on this week? ➋ When a client works with you, what is the one thing you want them to feel from start to finish? ➌ Do you think your current process actually delivers that feeling — honestly? Drop in. This week gets real. — Precious

1. This week I’m working on connections, reaching out to venues and hotels for draping partnerships. I’ve got letter prepared to be sent out 2. I want my client to feel relaxed and at ease. Amazed at the results 3. I feel like I deliver that experience
Welcome to June. This Is the Month You Get Paid for Your Skill.
Hey PDU fam 💕 Happy Monday and welcome to June. Summer is officially here. And summer means events. Graduations. Weddings. Baby showers. Quinceañeras. Corporate galas. Prom send-offs. The demand is not coming. It is already here. The question is, are you positioned to catch it? This month we are not building confidence from scratch. We are converting the skill you already have into consistent income. Before we start this week, drop in below: ➊ What are you working on or building in your business this week? ➋ Do you have any events booked for June already? Drop the number — even if it is zero. ➌ What would a fully booked June actually look like for you? Say the number out loud. The designers who name their goal are the ones who hit it. Let's go get June. — Precious
