Clarity and execution. I’ve been looking for a mentor and I’d say this confirms it. Find someone that’s done it before and work with them. It’s not easy to find a good mentor and it’s usually not free. California is an expensive market but the gains can be worth it. I just need one good deal to get the ball rolling.

I have done days of research I know I want to get into real estate. That said I know I’m not going in with a single approach. I want to build new but I might have to start with flips. And in order to get a good flip I have to negotiate with wholesalers or realtors. There are multiple ways for me to get to my goals and I’m going to make sure I analyze every one of them. But the whole reason I joined to get guidance for this initial funding.

The biggest take away is I need to set myself up to take advantage of other resources. Biggest concern would be said setup. I did some research on LLCs and business credit and I’ve noticed that things are not that complicated but there is a way to do it wrong. And I don’t want to make those mistakes.
