have switched to a personal project without finishing the car modeling tutorial, but was in need to apply some learned technics with my own way, and face the issues to keep learning. Will eventually go back to the tut soon, still a lot to learn! :D anyway, here's the first car done in plasticity for me, with some renders done in blender with Cycle.

The Pantah 350
A model I have done while learning Plasticity basics. Grey turntable rendered in modo, and some renders done in Blender by a friend. Now its time to learn proper surfacing technics. Time to watch the car modeling course! :D

It s always easier to give feedback on a subd asset when seeing the cage you are working with, not the freezed result. as said before, some pinching can be seen already. the centered pinching is probably coming from not merged vertices, but to be confirmed. the biggest issue for now imho is the not long enought wrist bracelet. looks really short compared to your ref. I would check this. and the number are bigger than the ref too.

Day 3 of car modeling course. currently at the end of the 04 - fix pillar part. Having a lot! of issues to have a good looking part, and no xnurbs, so after hours trying to have better shape, I went with a personal solution, applying Nikita's first rule : start with big, plain panel, avoid as much as possible small patches... so I have done it lofting the full side panel in one piece, and then inprint/cut the window. :D the good new is, its looking smooth now! Bad new : I don t know yet, let s see with the next chapters :D wip!

actually its a nightmare! :D I have a lot of little errors and mistakes here and there, making the whole thing bumpy at best, very bad looking at worst.. One of the biggest issue was the wheel arch that wasn't flat(at all..), that was giving me a very bad shape on the rear "shoulder". took me a long time before seeing this one. :) currently trying to identify the other issues, and redoing again and again. I think I'm at the 7th attempts for now for the rear part. Practice is the key! Will restart from scratch soon to start on a good base, but I'm currently learning a lot. wip! :D ps: @Nikita Kapustin thx for all the good advices you are giving in this course, it makes the learning path a lot easier! you arent talking too much, you are taking time to explain the things, that is really great! :)
