Rain here for the next few days and has been. Snow, already? Wow. We're watching the tropical system in the gulf. Appears it will stay west of us, but will probably still get bands of rain as it twirls. Depends how big it is. It can be large and not be a category 4 or 5. That depends on the center of the storm, by the eye. No, I'm not a meteorologist. I am fascinated my hurricanes. I get excited, which I shouldn't. I watch the path. If we're in it I think it's cool. Then when it starts to get close and warnings start, I go into panic mode trying to prepare. I'm messed up in the head. But, nothing nobody doesn't already know. lol
Outdoors, a commemoration, family time
📅 Daily Check-in - October 6, 2026 💭 Reflection: "Saw my granddaughter at her track meet yesterday and saw my youngest grandson who was there with his parents, which was a really nice surprise! Unfortunately, my granddaughter and her parents are having issues and were not happy with each other. It was as beautiful day weather-wise, though, and I did take some photos of the surroundings as it may be a great thing to paint. Of course, I also got some pictures of my granddaughter and grandson, too. I spent some time with my grandson at a playground nearby after the race which was fun. He is 3 and a cutie-pie! Last night, went to the ceremony for the hospice patients including my mother-in-law. It was a beautiful and very touching ceremony. The church it was held in was gorgeous and it was all lit up with candlelight. I wasn't able to get a picture, but would have loved to. I had never been before, and want to go back to take some pictures also to use for my artwork. More importantly, it was nice to be with my husband's family and to celebrate my mother-in-law's life again. I do miss her. She was a wonderful woman. She would be proud and very happy that her 5 kids all text every morning and every evening and sometimes throughout the day. It's awesome they are all staying in touch. I think they text and talk more now than when Genevieve was here. We had a delicious dinner at an Italian restaurant afterwards - great food and even better company. This morning, I took our dog out and spent a couple minutes out in the sun in front of the apartment building, but then came back inside and went out on the porch/deck with our dog and sat for at least 10 minutes. It was nice and cool, but also sunny. Did some breathwork while I was out there, and listened to the birds. I forgot...yesterday I stopped at Hobby Lobby and got some watercolors, paintbrushes, and 2 watercolor books and a sketchbook. I can't wait to get to use them!" 📊 Wellbeing Scores: 😊 Happiness: 8/10 ⚡ Energy: 8/10

@Mj Funaro , it must have been a great day with your grandkids, and the great company. That’s great!😁
Progress at week 4
I'm concerned that the progess slider for me is at 11% entering into week 4; what is that about? I'm doing all my worksheets, check-ins, calls. What's up with that?

In Skool, each page of each section needs to be checked: the lesson, the replay, the Q&A, any other sheets provided. If the circle isn’t green in the top right, tap it. It’s not automatic. Hopefully, you’ll see better results.
Power problems and a double feature
📅 Daily Check-in - October 6, 2026 💭 Reflection: "Yesterday into this morning was okay. I mean, it ended up really good, but it started off good, and then it went down, and then it went back up again. I had gone over to my laptop and saw that the battery was at 50% while it was plugged in, and I noticed it wasn't charging, so I unplugged it, plugged it back in, nothing. I took the whole charger, pulled the plug out of it, took it out of the computer, took it out of the wall, plugged everything back together, plugged it into a different outlet, plugged it into the wall, I mean, into my laptop, still nothing. So I did what you would normally do to check everything. So I'm like, I need my laptop. Drove all the way down to Gainesville, which wasn't a wasted trip because I got a text that my glasses were ready as well. So I got my new glasses, got a new charger, and then I came home, plugged the charger in, and it didn't work either. And I was getting very anxious because now I'm down to 30-something percent, and then the laptop jumped down and it shut off. So I went into panic mode. I mean, I knew how to get the hard drive out if I needed it in an emergency, I sat with it, stared at it, and I kept holding the power button down, thinking maybe it went into hibernation. And then I saw the power light come on. I'm like, okay, well, that's good. And then I see the laptop, as if it's just starting. It starts, and I notice the battery has a little lightning bolt on it. So then I look on the side of the laptop, and the light was on. So then I went back to my old charger, plugged it in, and it's working just fine. So everything was fine. It needed a reboot. But I've never, ever in the life of doing my tech support, I've ever had to reboot for a charger. That was new to me. The kids friend friend, and ours by extension as well, even though he’s 24 I think. Anyways he had moved up to New York around April or May, but he flew into Orlando Sanford airport last night. My kids drove down to pick him up and brought him back and so he’s staying with us for I guess a week. I really didn’t know all the details until the other day so it shows the communication here. lol While they were gone, my wife and I, we put our devices down mostly and we watched a movie together that we wanted to see. And then our TV, it’s a new TV and the setup is kind of new and how to use it to get to what we’re used to as it’s a “smart” Google 🤮 TV.

@Francine Jolette thank you. I truly was panicking, and that was what my business was. Computer repairs. I panicked and missed one simple diagnostic. One that I tell everyone first: Have you tried turning it on and off? Well, I assumed it was more in-depth and I troubleshot how you would troubleshoot. Just not completely. Lesson learned. New one on me.

ADHD Harmony helped me learn that ADHD isn't only hyperactivity or focus issues. I've been masking symptoms since I was 6 and didn't even know it.
