Origin: The expression comes from the idea of catching something with a hook. You may get what you want, but there’s a “catch” attached to it—a hidden condition or problem. We go to the same river every year with a few families. In Japanese, there are individual names for dumplings: Gyoza Shumai Shorompou And I thought in English, everything was called a dumpling. But I came across the word "potsticker" on the instagram again. So, which word do you usually use: dumpling or potsticker?
