Please Welcome 3 New Caregivers to the Circle
Happy Monday! Three new members have joined our Cherished Caregiver Circle today— @Kismae Grimes Reed @Kate DuBois and @Tonia Stoney We are so happy you decided to join us. Each one is a caregiver who also leads their own community, bringing fresh wisdom and heart to our group. 🌻Let’s give them a warm welcome right here in the comments. 🦋Share a kind word, a quick prayer, or simply say hello so they feel seen and supported from the start. 💜Your encouragement helps everyone feel valued as we walk this caregiving journey together. Blessings 💜

Happy 4th of July, The Cherished Caregiver Circle!
Wishing you a happy, safe Independence Day as we celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States of America (USA). If the fireworks and neighborhood noise feel overwhelming for you, your loved one, or your pets, here are a few quick ways to make tonight easier: 1. Create a “calm corner” (dim lights, favorite blanket, familiar items). 2. Use steady sound: a fan, soft music, or white noise to help cover the booms. 3. Close windows/curtains early and keep routines as normal as possible. 4. For pets: keep them indoors, ID tags on, and offer a cozy spot to hide; try a lick mat or chewy treat as a distraction. 5. Give extra grace—this is a sensory-heavy day, and it’s okay to keep things simple. How do you celebrate the 4th?

I got some sun today and my daughters came to visit to go tubing in the river. It was so nice to hang with them here at my place and just chill. How did you celebrate?

You Know… If You Solve Other People’s Problems, You Might Be a Caregiver
If you’ve ever said, “Hand me your phone, I’ll fix it,” you might be a caregiver. 📱If you’re the one who keeps the family calendar, remembers the birthdays, and knows everybody’s appointment times… you might be a caregiver. 🥪If you’ve ever talked someone off the ledge with a five-minute phone call, made a meal “real quick,” or showed up with coffee and a listening ear… you might be a caregiver. 🔑If you’ve helped someone fill out a form, find their keys (that were in their hand), or figure out the TV remote for the hundredth time… you might be a caregiver. 👩‍⚕️Caregiving isn’t only medical. A lot of it is simply showing up. 🌻So let me ask you: What do you give a CARE about? 💜And who are you showing up for right now? 🙏 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you. I’m caring for my pets, my kids and myself right now. Caring for my little plants too and they all care for me in return in some way. I’m picking wildflowers today, painting, applying self tanner ( I think that counts), it’s hot as Haydes but im out in the heat drinking hot coffee.. not sure why but this is so soothing to me. I’m caring for my property that I neglected for awhile.. long story.. but I’m caring for you by not spewing that story ;) Caring for my roosters, chickens and my goats… caring for myself and when I care for myself I’m able to care for all of the things aforementioned because I’m filling my cup and allowing myself to pour over joy and love to all things!

Caring is cleaning …I’m cleaning too! Maintaining is caring.. and that applies to all things.. I have learned that when I maintain and care I can care more …else I don’t care and get messy and all falls apart!
