What if the reason so many people feel stuck isn't that they don't know what to create, but because they've forgotten who they are? Over the past few weeks, this has become one of the central questions guiding my own work. For years, I believed my work was about helping people write and publish books. Looking back, I can see that books were never the destination. They were simply the medium through which something much deeper was unfolding. I've come to believe we spend much of our lives trying to discover who we are, when perhaps life has been inviting us to remember all along. The Language Portal is where intuition becomes language, language becomes creation, and creation becomes a way of remembering who you truly are. The invisible becomes visible through creation. For some, that creation becomes a book. For others, it's a business, a workshop, a painting, a movement, or an entirely new direction in life. The expression is different, but the invitation is the same: to trust what has been waiting within you all along. For me, language is the portal through which the invisible becomes visible. Through words, we give form to ideas, insights, and possibilities that previously existed only within us. Writing is simply one way we bring the unseen into the world. This is the work I love. Helping people see and hear themselves clearly enough to create what only they can create. ✨ Reflection ✨ As you sit with this today, what part of yourself—or what creation—feels ready to move from the invisible into the visible?

This morning, for the first time in a week, the western mountains were visible again. The wildfire smoke had finally cleared overnight. As I stood looking across the lake, it struck me that the mountains hadn't disappeared. Only my view of them had. Life often feels the same. There are seasons when we can't see what lies ahead. We wonder what comes next. We search for answers, convinced that clarity has somehow left us. But perhaps clarity doesn't disappear. Perhaps, like the mountains, it has been there all along, quietly waiting for the smoke to clear. Today, I invite you to sit with this question: What in your life has never disappeared, but has simply become hidden from view? As you reflect on this, what word, image, memory, or experience comes to mind?

People ask if AI will replace a writer's voice. I don't think that's the real question. I've come to believe our voice is something we're continually discovering. Every time you write, you find the language for something you didn't fully understand until you put it into words. When you respond to someone else's writing, new connections are made, not just to the person, but to the ideas their words awaken in you. Those ideas become part of you. They influence what you notice, how you think, and eventually, how you write. AI can generate words, but it doesn't experience the art of discovery. It doesn't become more itself through the act of writing. Perhaps that's why presence matters so much. Only through presence can your voice become truly your own.
