AI in portfolio
I am a little curious to learn a little about how you guys communicate what's been used AI for in projects/portfolio. Could imagine it's quite important to make it clear what's what? Or is it just like using Photoshop over markers? How do you present the work? How do you lay it out and communicate it? Right now it's sketch -> photoshop -> 3D render/viz. But when AI starts to become more of a tool throughout the process for testing ideas and designs I'm not sure what would be the most appropriate way of showing it. What's your guys experiences with this?

However you come to the result, some people still care. Call them purists … I personally don’t. If your final result, either being a model, a sketch or an ai viz is stunning but mainly from an Idea / taste perspective I’ll value it. The process how you get there doesn’t matter for me whenever I check portfolios. If it’s visible that the ideas were created by Ai, you did a mistake. However some people still care and that’s mainly dependent on the individuals you apply to. From my personal experience of the past 7 years no management / executive ever really cared how the result was created , even if it was the “dirtiest” workflow imaginable. Your task consists mainly of taking pressure off the shoulder of the person above you. The faster and better you do it in high quality the better. Marking your work as AI is kind of pointless since at this point you can create a sketch manually and then a dozen of them in your same style p.e.: I only see necessary for viz jobs I assume (which will not exist in the very near future imho anyways) TLDR: screw it - good portfolios are selected by taste and result - not how you got there, imho If you have questions/specific examples feel free to post them to me or below the next calls sketch selection

Creativity
Sharing an inspiring talk about creativity in general. A dear friend sent it recently and I found many wise words in it. Since I have to take a few days off to recharge I will push the next call to early October most likely. Have a listen, let us know what inspired you. Cheers
2nd group call focus: Exterior Proportion Evaluation + Ai Workflow
Please Drop your favorite Sketches/Models/Ai Images below and I will pick a few that will benefit everyone to be analysed together. More of an over arching topic this time !
