Roast my current membership questions
I'm getting tired of people that sound legit and come in with scammy, sloppy, generic AI generated websites that just end up spamming people with junk offers. Been getting them a lot with the new discovery system, so the good members are still only attributed to organic traffic I guess. So here are my current membership questions. Am I being to tough on new members. Roast them: 1. In order to be approved you need to show you are a real entrepeneur selling something legitimate. Otherwise you're not in. What will you provide? - I own a community on Skool - I have a professional website / portfolio that links to me (not a generic faceless AI generated landpage) - I have social media profiles or a YouTube channel - I have a freelancing profile 2. Give me a link to what you do(website, profile, community). Not a phone number, telegram or email. No link = No approval [TEXT BOX]

Poll Monday: What stage are you at?
[REPOST] from the beggining of this community In my older community, I gave some consulting on how people could plan the strategies for their online businesses. I defined 3 moments that every online business go through and helped them figure out where they were and what were the steps they needed to level up and improve. Here are they: 1. Figuring out the Basics - In this stage you're still figuring out your brand and your offer. - You don't know exactly how to present yourself - You're still working on your content and pitches - You have no audience or a very moderate one 2. Improving Online Presence - You built your brand and your offer and are starting to get some atttention on the platforms you chose. - Now it's more of a numbers game. You need to increase your reach. Use several platforms to funel people to the place where you want them to be, be it your community, your website, a form you want them to fill or your social media. SEO and paid traffic will accelerate your results. - Finding the ideal format for multiplatform crossposting is key to increase your reach. One example is short videos crossposted across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LInkedIn. It's relatively easy to automate that if you don't want to manually post in several places. 3. Optimizing Your Process (never ending) - You have a strong brand and lots of leads. It's getting hard to keep up. - It's time to invest on some automation and metrics. - CRMs like GoHighLevel or Panda (specific for Skool) will help a lot with that. - AI agents will also help, if you use them right. They can work very well for support and help desk. Using AI agents for sales is tricky and a lot of times do more damage than good, if you don't train them right and use good tools to set them up. You can also take a different approach and use AI at the basis of your business. Using AI for content creation, sales, research and automation from the start. That requires a lot of technical skill and a decent investment to make it work. If you don't set everything right you will only get sloppy results and bans everywhere you go. So be careful and well prepared if you want to take this approach.

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster I completely agree. 😊 AI can definitely help us save time, improve systems, and accelerate growth, but at some point there's no substitute for simply doing the work and showing up consistently. I've found that some of my biggest breakthroughs came not from optimizing everything, but from taking action, learning as I go, and staying committed to the path. Clarity often comes through the process. Thanks for the recommendation too—I'll check out the post and today's winner. I'm always looking for ways to learn and improve while keeping the human connection at the center of what I do. 📸✨

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster I think that's a really important insight. 😊 Innovation is exciting, but it's easy to drift away from the very thing that attracted people in the first place. The strongest communities seem to find a balance between evolving and staying true to their core purpose. It sounds like you've got a clear understanding of your community's "bread and butter," and that's a huge advantage. New ideas can enhance the experience, but keeping the main thing the main thing is what builds trust and keeps members coming back. Growth is important, but focus is what sustains it. 🚀✨
I Can't Find my Original Post - About Page Updated.
I got some flack from @Lion Fludd about poor eye contact in my first video on my About Page. He didn't "Feel it". So this may seem like a call out, but it's not. I just want his honest opinion now. I fixed the video and want to know, do you feel it now? And everyone else can join in too! AI Storytellers
