Take Yourself on a Money Date
Set up a money date with yourself or your partner. Establishing time to review your finances, think about what's going well, and consider what you'd like to change is the key to meeting your money goals. Get your money date on the calendar today!
When You Don't Have Enough
Yesterday I posted about paying your bills on time, but sometimes we're short on cash, making it difficult to get that done. Here are a few things you can do if you find yourself low on money when the bills are due.
The Cost of Convenience
Convenience can be expensive when it becomes a default setting. Ordering food, having items delivered, or grabbing prepared items may not feel significant in the moment. But when these choices happen often, they quietly shape your finances. Some people plan and budget for this because the convenience is worth the time they get back, but awareness is key. If you aren't aware of how much extra you're spending for the convenience, it's a good idea to make a note of it. It's important to understand where your money is going so you can decide if it still aligns with what matters to you.

@Yvonne Green Exactly! It feels like it isn't much more, but we've checked menu prices and restaurants charge more for things like DoorDash than they do for takeout. Then, when you add the delivery fee and tip, it's a big difference.

Don't Be Late
Financial Quick Tip: Pay your bills on time. Pay the amount due and pay them on time. It will make a huge difference in your credit score if you commit to doing this every month.
