Believe in the goodness of the future
Something I personally feel that I never hear others speaking about, is that humanity is going to be ok, and the world will find its way towards peace. It seems like such an unpopular opinion, especially because the media is so loud and gives us a skewed perspective on how much love is in the world vs. how much hate there is (which is really just a byproduct of fear). I found this video from David Bayer to be extremely refreshing, and I was amazed to hear something that sums up how I truly feel / have felt about what’s possible for our human race and where we can go and evolve as a species. Give it a listen if you’re looking for a dose of optimism! By the way, I mentioned on our last call that I would be posting some material around Japa - an ancient meditative practice for manifestation. However, the way I described it on the call (and the way I personally got results from) came from the approach Wayne Dyer had adapted it into, on an old series of tapes he recorded. But the link seems to no longer be available, and all the other information I find on Japa seems to be slightly different than the way Wayne had adapted and presented it. So to re-iterate the process I mentioned on that call (which personally worked for me like magic) is to essentially think about a vision or desire you have, and hold it in your minds eye while chanting “ahhh” loudly and with conviction. As you do so, you keep your attention on feeling the energy rise from your root chakra and up to the third eye, while constantly imagining that outcome you want. Then, after doing the “ahh” meditation / chant for a while (and holding your vision) you then switch to the chant “OM.” Instead of holding your vision, you now simply feel appreciation for all that you have, as you do the OM chant. After a while of the OM chant, you now switch to “SHA-LOM” (stretch it out, like shaaaaa, looooohhhhmm). During this segment, you feel appreciation for your vision being achieved. So you essentially place yourself into that future where what you desire has already happened, and you chant SHA-LOM as a thank you for the desire being done. You’ll want to make sure you do this in a place where you can be loud without disturbing anyone, so if you live with others, you may want to do it parked in a car.
