@Xinxin Zhang Positive Xinxin!!
Is it common?
When i do DDM, i feel like i hear many words, but if you let me write down those words, i can't!! i need one word or maybe a couple words to listen again one by one to write. that make me listen many times.

@Shane Peterson yes! I'm practicing to focus on Forest, Trees and Branches, not leaves...but my ears don't want to do that!! I'll train them..

儿化音 Adding an R sound to English words
This is a problem for lots of Chinese students. Thanks SO MUCH to @Mariel Liang for doing a ton of research. I added to her research some HOPEFULLY useful advice in this video. I will also add this to the Pronunciation Classroom. DOWNLOAD LINK: https://parmyproductionsllc.boxenterprise.net/s/y6ykenpkrxdh54xshi5yitsq0uxt1ioh

@Lee Tree Putting the tongue between teeth is the perfect L, and Coaches suggested this one and call it Light L. But for Chinese, our L in Chinese is very very similar to Dark L, but a slight difference. You can choose one or use both actually. For me, I usually use light L when L is at the beginning of the word, such as love, like, Linus and use dark L when L is in the middle or at the end of the word, such as girl, world, apple. Trust me, L is not an easy one for Chinese because it's easy for us to pronounce with an R sound. Feel it and we can discuss about this later. Take your time, one by one. Some videos I've reviewed many many times, like R, TH, etc...😆

@Candy Candy and computer works better than smartphone. In summary above: 1. Use Google browser to log in skool, not app. 2. VPN doesn't affect to this a lot and sometimes you need to turn off the VPN. 3. If possible, use computer or laptop when joining the live classes or watch big videos, instead of smartphone. 4. Copy the video link to a website and watch it. 5. Download the video to your desktop and watch it offline, but you need a huge drive to store all of these videos. 6. If you still cannot watch the videos, contact your network provider to speed up your network. 😅
