Off Duty: What are your creative hobbies that help you recharge and relax?
Please share examples below!! When you’re not on your grind, what creative process do you indulge in that helps refill your capacity? Mine are art and jewelry making. I’m teaching my daughter watercolor painting basics this year. I’m very rusty πŸ€ͺ this sunflower still life is an in-progress example of this weekend’s endeavors. My little one is actually painting at the kitchen table right now πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈπŸ₯Ή she is 5 and I love watching her creative process. The bracelet is an example of a jewelry making hobby that I enjoy very much and may someday turn into a creative business, but I still have a lot to learn! Please share your hobbies and interests ✨❀️✨

For me, it’s playing music or 🧢 knitting/crocheting. Here’s a scarf I started a few weeks ago and swear I’ll get around to completing before the snow is gone 🀣

@Theresa Elliott I used to prefer knitting, but crochet seems to work up faster.
πŸ”₯ LET'S GET A FULL HOUSE OF FIRE! πŸ”₯
Let me explain what I mean: If you're new here, you might have noticed some members have a little πŸ”₯ emoji next to their name. That's not a decoration. That's earned. And here's how it works: You get the fire by showing up and engaging every single day for 30 consecutive days. Posting, commenting, liking, contributing. If you miss a day? Streak resets. Back to zero. It's a small thing but it's teaching us something bigger: CONSISTENCY COMPOUNDS. I have 8 days down till I get mine. Who else is chasing the fire? Here's what counts: - You need 10 actions per day (likes, comments, posts all count) - Tight on time? Just like 10 comments. It takes 2 minutes. - Skool runs on UTC time, so for those in CST that's 6pm cutoff - Check your profile to see how many activities you've done for the day Here's my challenge to you: I want to see a full house of fire in this community!!! I want to scroll through the members list and see nothing but flames. Every single one of you with that πŸ”₯ next to your name. Imagine what this community looks like when everyone is showing up daily. The conversations. The connections. The wins. The energy. That's what we're building here. Drop your current streak count below. Let's see who's closest. πŸ‘‡ And if you already have your fire? Drop a πŸ”₯ and flex on us. You earned it. LET'S GET A FULL HOUSE OF FIRE!!!! πŸŒ‹πŸŒ‹πŸŒ‹πŸŒ‹ P.S. If you can't tell by now, I love surprises. SO, They'll be one for everyone who is on the the leaderboard and has a fire emoji 50 days from TODAY. Good luck. 😎 β€” David

Phase Check Prompt
I was in the middle of building out a new idea and kind of brain-dumping everything as it came up. At some point, I paused and asked ChatGPT a simple question: β€œWhat’s the best way to prompt you so I know when to stop and summarize what I’ve built so far?” In the middle of that conversation, this question came out: β€œIs this a phase-complete unit, or do I need one more component before summarizing?” That one line slowed everything down in a good way. It’s been really helpful for knowing when to stop building and capture what I have before moving on. Once something is phase-complete, I summarize that section and paste it into a doc so the idea doesn’t live only in my head. If you build fast, this kind of pause can help you: - 🧠 catch a clean stopping point - ✍️ organize ideas without killing momentum - πŸ—‚οΈ move ideas from your head into a doc while they’re still clear - 🚫 avoid one giant, messy brain dump I attached the full conversation from when this question first sparked in case it helps you see the context or adapt it for your own builds. Sharing in case this helps someone else who’s building and wants to stay focused while ideas are flying πŸš€

Moving Infographics INSANE COOL Idea to Stop the Scroll
*Note: I received permission to copy and share this post. I just copied and pasted the text. I also had to download the web browser extension NotebookLM. The attached moving infographics are different from the original. I used Grok (free) -> Imagine. ========== I am sharing - i did not come up with it-- but its too good not to share. Want to make an amazing moving infographic? This is an example using a YouTube Video (example of Evelyn Weiss sharing her Vision Board Video) I uploaded the link to NotebookLM and created an Infographic with a description of what type I wanted. 1. Paid version (Gemini pro) 2. Free (Grok) 3. Free Grok without prompt (animate image / Imagine option) Youtube -> Notebook LM -> Gemini or Grok 1-Choose your YouTube video as your info source 2-Click NotebookLM button (under video) to create a new notebook 3-Click Infographic and the pencil in corner: Type '"Dark Mode Neon" (or Cyber-Minimalism) designed for a social media post that will pop off viral 4-Take the output infographic image to Gemini or Grok 5-enter prompt below ===== CONTEXT: You are animating a short, visually appealing transformation from a blank white textured canvas into a completed infographic. The infographic is provided as a static image (uploaded). The animation must not generate, render, or simulate any intermediate graphics, text, or shapes not already present in the final image. This video will be used for professional marketing and educational presentations. ROLE: You are a Senior Motion Designer with 20+ years of experience in cinematic transitions for enterprise-level infographics and user interface intros. You are known for working with source images only β€” no AI-generated overlays, fake content, or inferred elements. ACTION: 1. Start with a white textured canvas background (subtle paper or linen texture). 2. Animate a **visual reveal of the uploaded infographic image**, using cinematic techniques such as:
