I just saw a beautiful reference for @Sharon Prahl on her own community here on Skool, and I actually asked Mark to share it here with you all. Why? Simply because : 1. I enjoy sharing and connecting amazing people with other amazing people 2. It is far greater to have someone step up to share your brilliance with others - It allows you to shine brighter without the "Look at me's". giving you a platform to simply "be" and not to fight for your moment in time. 3. I believe there is enough love to go around and my role here is to support people to discover this beautiful experience of "Being" the person we are called to be. I came across this page on Facebook this morning and it genuinely brought a smile to my face 😊 A group of friends travelling together, laughing, living life fully in their later years…And my first thought was: “I would love to be doing this with my buddies when I’m in my 80’s.” But then another thought followed quickly…Why wait until after retirement? I used to despise this saying, actually I would cringe when ever anyone would say it. Mostly because of the story that I had attached to it. This saying was used "at me" to explain why I was being cut off from my sisters after the passing of my mother. - Ouch. Grief has a way of making what should bring you closer - pull you apart further. These days though, I find myself saying this quite often. and even when discussing my sisters recently I found myself shrugging and saying "it is what it is" but in a completely different more free and more open way. One thing that I have come to realise is that you can't "make" people like you, love you or even connect with you - even if they are 'family'.
