Bike is down for the count
Bike is down for the count, Hopefully be back by Wednesday or Thursday. I got my new top end pieces today. Slaven recommended a B piston. I took it and my cylinder to the local machine shop to verify fitment. Turns out I need an A piston. I called Slavens from the machine shop parking lot. They had one in stock. hoping for Tuesday or Wednesday. I cleaned the rest of the parts, Looks like my adjustable power valve is pretty gummed up and not moving freely I've watched a couple of videos on disassembly and cleaning. We'll see how it goes tomorrow. :(

I was reading the picture of the machinists notes and found a missed conversion. The B piston is fine. Cleaned stuff yesterday, Today I filed the rings for correct ring gap, Using the squished solder method I measured/corrected Cylinder Squish by running a thinner base gasket. I have most of the engine assembled . Probably going to take another swing at it in the morning.
