Good morning, Family
I woke up this morning amazed to learn that Jesus still teaches us today through the use of parables. I am not talking about the parables we currently see in the Gospels. I am refering to promptings of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. Now, please understand, the mesaage I am about to share with you was NOT a dream! It was a very clear impression upon my heart and soul that I could visualize as easily as watching a show on TV. And while this was not a new experience for me, because of the recent teaching I have been sharing on the Holy Spirit and His purpose, I was much more in tune with His prompting and the message I was being given. that being said, here we go: "Do not, my beloved be in a rush to touch the anointed garment laid out before you. Be patient and wait for the Holy Spirit to guide you in God's timing. Does a bride don her wedding gown days, or even weeks before her wedding as daily wear? Will she wear that special garment to perform ordinary household chores? Or does she keep it well protected so it is not damaged, awaiting her special day? So it is with the anointing placed on our lives. Be not rushed to move into your fulfillment. While things may appear to be moving slowly to us, we must trust in God's perfect timing for our lives. Your gifts are given for a purpose, God's Purpose, not our own. And, when the Holy Spirit pushes you to that purpose, do not withdraw in fear or doubt. For that which you are called to, you shall also be equipped for. Step out in faith, secure in the knowledge that each step shall be measured and guided in power and authority. Amen
Question
I want to ask honestly, do you think it is right for someone who spends their time teaching, praying, and helping others grow in God to receive financial support, or should everything always be done without any income?

It is perfectly fine for a minister/pastor/teacher/etc... to recieve a "LOVE OFFERING" but remember, we did not apply for a job, we are called to serve. It should ALWAYS be about the "OUTCOME" not the income!

@Eric Markum Brother, I would add that the Bible tells us in one form or another, 365 times, "Do not be afraid." So . . . DO NOT BE AFRAID! No matter how bad the situation MAY seem, remember, your Father in Heaven loves you and the enemy WANTS you to have fear, worry and doubt. When you do, he wins. This challenge you face is an opportunity for you to show the enemy GOD'S GLORY, GRACE, and MIGHT! You just need to trust in Him and His timing!

Do you REPEAT or FULFILL?
If someone told our church handyman, ā€œTake this brush and gallon of paint, go outside and paint the pastor’s name on the church signā€, and he went outside and wrote ā€œThe pastors nameā€ on the sign, he might get fired! They don’t mean for him to repeat their instructions, they intend for him to fulfill their instructions. They meant for him to write ā€œCalvin Hallā€ on the church sign. Matthew 28:19 are the instructions. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." In water baptism, the apostles didn’t repeat Jesus’ instructions, they fulfilled His instructions. In every example in the Book of Acts they properly fulfilled the instructions to ā€baptize in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghostā€ by evoking the name of Jesus in baptism. Don’t repeat the instructions - fulfill the instructions!!
