Beautiful!
I’m moving on up!
I made it to Level 7! I’m so excited, can’t wait to start beading again once my eye is healed enough.i will certainly be looking at the premium level material in the morning!! I’ve actually thought I could try beading with 6/0 seed beads, they are easy enough to see. I might try next week, just to keep me working on things😊

Congrats!! Miss Adele, don't strain your eyes, if you feel the pressure with the 6/0, well you're a big girl you know what you can do lol🤣🤣🫶 Congrats!!
need a lil help or suggestions
I have a general question. I been buy gently used beads and jewelry and taking the jewelry apart and reusing them in something new. my question is I have those pretty beads that are on strings and I want to take them off the string and make something new with them how in the heck can I get them off the strings without damaging the beads. I have been soaking them in hot soapy water it worked on some but not all. any suggestions?

I'm so sorry!! I haven't been feeling well but this is one of my latest faves!! So I have a friend, Deb Floros, who got me into this. She's a designer for quite a few places actually but big on Artbeads. She has her own YouTube channel and a repurposing "Found Jewelry" called Crimped. Check out some of her videos, you'll love her!! I've learned from Deb that if you cut the chain, you can make use of even 1/2 inch of it. If it's on string, cut it. I mean you have to connect the two ends when you first create a new one, right? And are you saving what it was strung on? I only saved the memory wire pieces and chain. Lots of chain. You won't hurt your beads, charms or gems doing this. You could do as i am and disassemble them as i rummage through the jars. I will take everything apart, charms here, beads sorted some such way over there, findings in that.
Cylin Beads
I just ordered some cylin beads as there is a 50% discount running at the moment, I’ve not tried these ones but i have tried some alternative Delica sized beads ‘FGB’s that come in the 25g bags that have been great to help buffer out my delica supplies. Anyone tried Cylin Beads?

@Trine Paerata nice!! I see Amazon has 50g bags for like $8 or something like that. That price for that amount makes me very tempted to try them! It was from the John Bead store too so they were actual cylins

@Trine Paerata @Carolin Gebhardt yes please! Remember this is Skool, we are supposed to show our work!! Lol 🤣 I crack myself up sometimes. Have yall been to look around in the classroom area? There's some cool things in there. Sorry remembered it took me awhile to realize what all was avaliable and how all that worked
