Hadith (Arabic): عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قِيلَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: كُلُّ مَخْمُومِ الْقَلْبِ صَدُوقُ اللِّسَانِ Translation (English): Abdullah ibn Amr (RA) reported: It was said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, “Which people are best?” He said, “Those with pure hearts and truthful tongues.” (Musnad Ahmad – Sahih) Translation (Urdu): حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ سے پوچھا گیا: سب سے بہتر لوگ کون ہیں؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: “وہ لوگ جن کے دل صاف ہوں اور جن کی زبان سچی ہو"۔ (مسند احمد – صحیح) Detailed Explanation / Lesson: This hadith shows that the best people in the sight of Allah are not necessarily the wealthiest or the most powerful, but those who have two qualities: 1. Pure hearts: Free from hatred, jealousy, arrogance, and hypocrisy. A clean heart is filled with love, sincerity, and the remembrance of Allah. 2. Truthful tongues: Always speaking the truth, avoiding lies, backbiting, and hurtful speech. The Prophet ﷺ linked faith and character once again, reminding us that sincerity inside and honesty outside are the marks of the best believers. Dua: اللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنَ النِّفَاقِ وَحَصِّنْ لِسَانِي مِنَ الْكَذِبِ Translation (English): “O Allah, purify my heart from hypocrisy and protect my tongue from lying.” Translation (Urdu): “اے اللہ! میرے دل کو نفاق سے پاک کر دے اور میری زبان کو جھوٹ سے محفوظ فرما۔”

You keep saying, “I’ll start when things get better.” When I have more money. When exams are over. When life calms down. That’s a lie you tell yourself. Because life never calms down. There will always be problems. There will always be something in the way. Successful people don’t wait for the perfect moment. They start with what they have. They adjust as they move. They figure it out along the way. Waiting feels safe. But waiting is just fear wearing a mask. The longer you delay, the heavier the regret becomes. Time doesn’t pause for you.
