@Marsha Vacca Thanks Marsha, that's helpful. I know that maintaining strength & balance are non-existent for her right now. A couple resources would be appreciated.

I'm somewhat confident and the reason why I answered that way is because I know my parents don't always give me all the details, so I can only go from the information I know. I know they are protecting me, because they don't want me to worry and I respect that, but having all the information is kinda important at this stage of their life.

Ask Marsha - What Should I Be Doing for Family Member with Severe Mental Decline?
UPDATE: For whatever reason, if you try to click on the black and white image it tells you the video isn't available. So, please click the blue link...it should then work just fine. Don't know why this is happening but -- we love technology! LOL https://youtu.be/FYbBc4Lhx1Q?views Finally, here is my first "Ask Marsha" segment. It was going to be a long written response so I decided to record a video of my response. These are some basic strategies and tips on how to offer care and support to a loved one who is experiencing mental decline and memory loss. This is always one of the toughest situations to be in as a family. Hope you find this helpful. Leave any comments, insights, questions in the community as there is so much more that can be provided on this topic. Here is the link to my response: https://youtu.be/FYbBc4Lhx1Q?views

Ask Marsha - Do you have a question?
Hi all! As promised, I want to make sure throughout this year, once a week, I am answering any questions you might have about being a family caregiver. It can be about anything that is on your mind, that you have been dealing with (or preparing to deal with) -- you name it, you can ask it. Post your question here and I will answer it this coming weekend. Who's got a question? And, remember, there are no 'dumb' questions -- nope, none at all.

If our parents don't have a "TRUST", should I consider having them do this to put their assets into, so when they pass, it's a smoother process dealing with their assets? And I guess the same question for me so my son doesn't have a big headache when I pass in 40 years!
