Does Lumiere Research Program Accept students who ask for financial aid?
I submitted my application for this WAAAAY back, with the financial aid needed option. Now they are asking me for a 15 minute interview. Does that mean, they'll accept me by giving me financial aid? or is it just not considered yet to this point?

@Md. Ashfaq Zahin, unfortunately, I still haven't started my research project. I just applied to a program, and need to go through the interview step now.
Why is the feed so dry nowadays?
Rishab Academy was one of my favorite communities, but nowadays, I don't see anything different. I don't see those big paragraphs, the polls, the opportunity lists, or the questions anymore. I may not have enough time to post anything, and I don't see anyone doing so either. Where is @Chinnu B @Rudaiba Tarannum @Tanzim Redwan @Daniel Y @Syeda Zainab Fatima @Chaitra A. and much more? Please come back, the feed's drier than the Sahara desert rn.

The struggles of living in a small country.
Don't get me wrong, To me, Bangladesh is one of the best countries to live in. The people here are very hospitable and the nature is BEAUTIFUL. But the problem arises when we aren't included in terms of different opportunities. Getting into Ivy League colleges, MIT, or just any internationally renowned college requires students with international impact and credentials. For example, doing internships, researching, making clubs, participating in good pre-collegiate programs, and more. But.... Even after searching for almost a year, I have not found a SINGLE credible opportunity for my field of interest. Programs like RSI, Research competitions, and Internships are mostly available for big countries. Now you might think that there are a lot of things you can do in your OWN country. Well, almost none of the credible Colleges have research programs, cold emailing professors also don't work, clubs are useless in my school (Although some schools have really good clubs) and volunteering opportunities are also rare for high schoolers. I won't say there's nothing to do here. Rather, we have fewer opportunities compared to others. Which restricts our goals. Please include small countries like Bangladesh. We ain't even that small. Anyways, this by no means is meant to offend anyone nor to degrade any country. Fun fact: One of the co-founders of YouTube and Sal Khan from Khan Academy are Bangladeshis.😎

@Najly Tajin Yeah. Most of the clubs don't do anything besides holding fests every now and then. Even if some do at first, but in the long run, they give up on doing workshops. oh and I'm in grade 10

Hi. I give advice and sometimes ask questions that give people existential crises.
