Dry happy to have you hear @Tlidji Abdelbassit ! If you have any questions just ask 💪🤝
Don’t learn only half the word!
Learning a word in English is not just about meaning. It is also about sound. 🎵🎸🥁 Take the word record: /ˈrekɔːrd/ as a noun /rɪˈkɔːrd/ as a verb Same spelling. Different stress. Different pronunciation. If you do not learn how a word sounds, you are only learning half of it. If you don’t learn the sound, you don’t really own the word. Watch my short video and tell me if you agree! 👍

Can you really hear your own pronunciation mistakes? 👂🎙️
happy Sunday everyone! 👋 A study by Dlaska and Krekeler showed something very real for English learners: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0346251X08000602 Most people can tell they have an accent…but they often struggle to hear exactly where the mistake is. 🤔 In other words: we often hear the version we meant to say, not always the version we actually said. 😅 That is why recording yourself is so useful. 🎧 Not to judge yourself. Not to feel bad.But to become more aware. Because once you hear the gap, you can start to fix it. ✅ So here’s a small challenge for today: 🎙️ Record yourself saying 2 or 3 sentences in English. 🎧 Listen back. 📝 Notice just one thing you want to improve. Small awareness = big progress. 🚀 Have you ever listened to your own English and thought, “Wait… do I really sound like that?” 😅👇
