@Sam Carrington I mean the public library near their house. Many libraries are starting to loan out more than books to encourage attendance. My library has a couple of puzzles to borrow, but nothing interesting. The public library by my parents must’ve had over 100 puzzles to borrow! I agree that it’s hard to do puzzles when you have guests visiting. I feel like unless others are also into puzzles, taking up a whole table to do a puzzle can feel like an inconvenience. When I was visiting my parents, I fell off n love with 500 piece puzzles. They’re big enough to feel substantial but small enough to do in a couple of hours (and finish in one sitting). Now that I’m back home, I started working on a 1000 piece puzzle. It has sooo many pieces! 🤪

@Sam Carrington I forget about 500 piece puzzles too! I do mostly 1000 piece puzzles. I have done one 1500 piece puzzle, and I bought a 2000 piece puzzle a while ago that I’m scared to attempt. 😄 Finished sorting! I worked casually, so it took me about 3 days. Now on to the fun part!

I've kind of learned that the prettier the picture, the worse it is as a puzzle! 😆 I tend to like puzzles that have illustrations that are very colorful and busy. Any time I see someone (usually someone whose not into puzzles) make a custom puzzle of their wedding picture, I think "Oh my gosh, that looks hard. I bet they won't solve the puzzle more than once." 🫠

@Sam Carrington That would be so fun to use your soon to be daughter in law’s artwork! That would definitely be special!

I did a similar puzzle and I also thought “oh this’ll be fun” but it ended up being sooo difficult 😭
