Sharing with my dogs gives me so much joy, also a great deal of drool, but I was prepared with paper towel under Zebs paws 🤪 😍 It's a longer video, so please dont feel obligated to watch it all 😅🫣

What do you do with your dog that brings you joy? ✨️
Sunday is dogs day 🌞✨️
I'm currently struggling with metatarsalgia and cannot be on my feet long. So this afternoon rather than feel guilty about not hiking out with the dogs I sat around while they played instead. They didn't seem to mind and I took the opportunity to get artsy with some footage after a magical afternoon at home with my dogs. Enjoy 😍

@Birdy O'Sheedy I'm always so grateful and quite amazed at how my little pack can pivot and adapt to change. They had the best day 🥰✨️

@Donata Jones the only reason I mentioned the metatarsalgia is to show that even when you think you're not enough for your dog, a change in perspective via a little PAWS can show you another way to not only keep them fullfilled and happy, but fill your own cup as well 🥰✨️
I need your brain 😬
Okay folks, I need your brains on this one please! 🧠✨ I’m currently redesigning the PAWS classroom and rebuilding the materials from scratch, and I’d love your input on something. The original PAWS method was: P — Present Moment A — Appreciation W — Wonder S — Share Originally, Appreciation was intended to be more than simply noticing something we appreciate and expand with it. It was also about staying with it for a moment and really taking it in. Then @Melanie Sweeney beautifully brought up the idea of savouring, and now I’m wondering where it most naturally belongs in the PAWS process. So, which feels more intuitive and potent to you? Option 1: A — Appreciate in a savouring way You notice what you appreciate and consciously linger with it, letting the moment really land. Option 2: S — Savour (before it was Share) You move through Present Moment → Appreciation → Wonder, and then finish by savouring and/or sharing the experience. I quite like the idea of savouring coming at the end, almost like tying a bow around the little gift you’ve just given yourself. 🎁 But I’m curious about what feels most natural to YOU when you actually imagine using PAWS in everyday life. Where would you put Savour? Is it more important than Sharing? Because I could also just make the S- Savour instead of Share? I also was really taken in what @Jane Purdon shared with us in a thread. I don't want that people feel pressure to share constantly on social media. It was encouraged during the 28 day challenge to build a habit (which Jane clearly beautifully did and inspired many of us) and now its finding a way to live and integrate it. The sharing aspect is more to put high vibes into the world, and as a community we use the science of capatalisation (we enhance it and witness it) and then these experiences become contagious and it spreads. So I do like that aspect. But I don't want that people feel obligated to do it.

@Sifu Aron agreed 💯
Beyond exhaustion
I need to step away from most of my social platforms for a while. Prepping to move away from Tasmania is proving to be a considerably more difficult journey than anticipated and I'm finding myself slipping into a burnout spiral. Today I am forced to sell my older pony, and it's weighing extremely heavy. Everything I currently know, and have worked for is being sorted through, packed up, sold or left behind. The last 26 years of my life stripped bare. I know this needs to happen to move forward to create a bigger brighter future and a better life, but it is brutally confronting and exhausting on so many levels. There is nobody here to help and I have to navigate this task alone. My dogs keep me grounded, and so far this community has kept me sane. But right now contributing to yet another platform is leaving me far too drained. I must away to fully submerge deep in PAWS, I will sit in on community calls when I can and will read but not post. My inbox is always open. Big love x

@Monique Rana I felt conflicted. The magic for me is disconnecting from social media type content and feeling like I need to "document" everything in a post. To fully disengage from my chaotic every day life challenges and immerse myself in tbe true magic of dogs and nature and the PAWS formula I had to put the phone down. It yielded interesting results.... 1. Relaxation and self regulation became easier 2. I was kinder to myself 3. My connection with my dogs deepened 4. My dogs became more relaxed in their routine 5. PAWS became almost automated, classically conditioned into almost every task 6. I got a lot more ticked off the "to do" list Most suprisingly, people got upset with me for not posting on social platforms. Some got mad that they didn't know what I was up to, others thought I'd become unwell or something was wrong, others thought I'd blocked them while others supported my choice. It certainly helped me sort true friends from false ones, thats for sure ...

@Marshall Medlock when something dog related and share worthy presents itself, it will pop up here first 😉

PAWS and a massage. We did some box breathing together after this ✨️ We do this most nights now to reset before sleep

@Melanie Sweeney he loves that deep pressure, pull, hold, release with hands gliding over him pattern. Melts him every time. Sync your breath with the holds and the energy transfers as you connect. Bliss every time. This also leads into teaching restraint for vet visits etc.
