ai images
i’m using ai to generate my poster images but for some reason no matter what they always come out long and thin even when i prompt for a certain aspect ratio. as a result whenever i try to resize it into any other aspect ratios it never fits properly (as in some of the top and bottom get cut off). how do i fix this?

i’m just starting out but have found meta ai makes some really clean designs it’s just the sizing is always messed up so wasn’t sure what to do
print sizing
Just starting out and need some help. can anyone recommend what sizes i should offer to start with. I’m thinking i’ll just offer A sizes and most 2:3 3:4 4:5 sizes. just wondering which exact ones to do. For example 16x20. Also am i correct in thinking that as long as i have a A1 size and the largest 2:3 3:4 and 4:5 size saved on my computer. When i make a sale printshrimp deals with the exact size the customer has ordered? or do i have to manually resize the image?

ok perfect, so like i say if i got a sale for a size 16 x 24 for example i’d upload the aspect ratio 2:3?

print sizing
this may be a silly question but i’m new to this. when i make a sale on etsy and go through print shrimp how do they know for example the customer wants a A3 size. As i understand it i don’t need to make the same poster for every single size just one for the A sizes and one for each aspect ratio? So basically what i’m asking is how do they know the customer may want a size 12x 18 or a 24x 36 if they are both ratio 2:3?

@Mihai Volintiriu so as long as i have one master file per ratio, print shrimp handles the exact size selected by the customer because each option will be within the 2:3 3:4 4:5 or A ratio if that’s the sizes i’m offering ?

okay perfect. Is this correct. for reference i’m primarily using ai images for my posters. 1. create image using AI 2. upscale image to A0 3. save image and put into a mock-up to post on etsy 4. when a sale is made find the image saved as A0 and downscale depending on the ratio the customer has ordered.
